The ones who were surrendering deserved no consideration, as by opposing the Taliban they had made themselves enemies of Allah and his messenger. This is not Geneva Convention warfare, and it will grow exponentially more common in the coming years.

Video has emerged that purports to show the moment 22 Afghan commandos were massacred by the Taliban moments after they surrendered.
The footage appears to have been taken in Dawlat Abad, in northern Faryab province, on June 16 following a major battle between the Taliban and Afghan forces.
The government had sent an elite team of US-trained commandos – including the son of a retired general – into the town to recapture it, but they quickly became surrounded with air support and reinforcements failing to materialise.
Militants say the commandos were captured after running out of ammunition, but witness accounts from the time and the new footage suggests they were actually gunned down in cold blood.
It comes amid a major offensive by the Taliban across Afghanistan as US forces withdraw, which has seen the Islamists trying to persuade government troops to abandon their posts on the promise of safe passage back to their homes.
In the video, which was first shared with veterans network Funker530 last week, men holding weapons can be seen ushering a group of soldiers into a public square.
The soldiers are unarmed and many of them have their arms raised, as their captors yell at them and a couple are forced to kneel on the ground.
‘Don’t shoot them, don’t shoot them, I beg you don’t shoot them,’ someone says in the local Pashto language, according to translation by CNN.
Moments later, to shouts of ‘Allahu Akbar’, the captors open fire – unleashing a volley of bullets that starts with two gunshots and ends in dozens of rounds being fired.
A second piece of footage then shows bodies strewn across the ground, as men holding rifles strip them of their equipment….

I remember when the U.S. first went into Afghanistan one of the “experts” said it would take 50 years to bring about any kind of real change there. It’s only been 20 so far. Now the clock gets turned back to zero. Some fires just have to burn themselves out – and Afghanistan is one huge dumpster fire.

Sharia law simply says ‘kill’ (q-t-l), because the death sentence for fighting against Islam is clear and the mullahs’ fatwas command it. The Taliban is led by mullahs capable of writing a fatwa. These particular murders are covered by Sharia law and are perfectly Islamic in every way.
Under the Geneva conventions, these executions are war crimes.

THIS IS REAL ISLAM … not ‘moderate’, but GENUINE Islam, rather than an aberration. Kafirs do not deserve to live. By fighting the Taliban (who are Allah’s ‘true’ representatives on earth), the Afghan soldiers committed KUFR and became KAFIRS (those who hide the true Islam). Their murder was justified by Sharia law.
Our Western elites have to get this information that Robert Spencer exposes hear every day … namely, that jihadism is normative Islam and that the TALIBAN (and other jihad groups like them) are a PERFECT example of Islam, rather than aberrations from a supposed ‘benign’ Islam that is not found in the primary source texts of Islam.

Anyone remember the hue and cry over the Bush Administration’s decision to have military tribunals in Gitmo for these enemy combatants, pointing out in particular that neither al Qaeda nor Taliban prisoners were your typical military prisoners of war, who’d follow certain conventions? Well, they’ve just proved right now how right the Bush administration was.
As for the 22 Afghan ‘commandos’, they certainly proved themselves as cowards, and died like cowards. I don’t mean to mock the dead, but who ever branded them ‘commandos’? They would have been heroes had they gone down fighting

The Geneva Convention has nothing to do with the Islamic Jihadist and fighters. Islam follows no other rules than it own Quran, which doesn’t recognize mercy for its enemies. There are no rules of war within islam, you kill and destroy your enemy period anything less is a sign of weakness.
