The same thing allegedly happened in the Islamic honor killing of Amina and Sarah Said in Texas. Pamela Geller reported in 2012 that the girls had escaped their home, but then their mother, Patricia Said, “convinced Sarah that she would be safe and should go with her, and then together they worked on convincing Amina to return as well. Amina’s aunt recalled: ‘Amina called me and was freaking out because Patricia had lied to her and taken Sarah back to Yaser.'” The girls’ father, Yaser Said, murdered Amina and Sarah shortly thereafter.
What kind of mother would do such a thing? One who was convinced that the honor of the family was more important than the life of her child.

Saman Abbas was allegedly killed by members of her family in Italy after she refused an arranged marriage in Pakistan.
It is now believed that the 18-year-old was lured home by her mother who had sent a text message, claiming that the family would respect her wishes.
It was reported that Saman’s mother sent her daughter a message saying:
“Please get in touch, come home. We are dying. Come back, we’ll do as you say.”
The message was reportedly sent to Saman while she was staying at the hostel she had fled to after refusing to enter an arranged marriage.
However, Saman returned home on April 22, 2021. She disappeared from her home in Novellara a week later.
It is believed that she was strangled to death by her uncle Danish Hasnain.
Her body was allegedly buried in a field and is yet to be found.
Her parents Shabbar Abbas and Nazia Shaheen are said to have fled to Pakistan. Both are under investigation.
Saman’s uncle is said to have carried out the killing. He is believed to be on the run somewhere in Europe.
Cousins Nomanulhaq and Ikram Ijaz are also under investigation….
In early June 2021, Saman’s brother told a preliminary investigations judge that her uncle admitted killing her.
The night before her disappearance, Saman Abbas got into an argument with her family over the arranged marriage….
According to Italian Police, Danish referred to a “job well done” to a friend in an internet chat room. Officers believe it was in reference to Saman’s murder and disposal of her body.
Saman also reportedly overheard her family saying that murder was “the only solution” for women who did not obey the Pakistani way of life.
She suspected that “they are talking about me”.
Saman told her boyfriend about the conversation.
After her disappearance, CCTV footage emerged which showed three people carrying shovels heading towards some fields.
They are believed to be Danish, Nomanulhaq and Ikram….

Tim sometimes the women *are* being threatened–or lied to. But many Muslim women are just as bad as are Muslim males. I would not assume that this Muslim mother acted under duress.

You are, no doubt, right about the mother, gravenimage. Islam turns so many people, who I presume, at birth, had a good chance of being decent people, into inhuman monsters. I did imagine the mother, especially as women in Islam seem to have almost zero value or rights, except as breeders of more Muslims, being stood over by the knuckle dragging males in the family, and having to go along. It is a monstrous thing for a mother to do to her child. That’s Islam though. Normal, healthy human emotions don’t have anything to do with a lot of these creatures. As you often say, you hate islam, a sentiment that I, and most commenters here at Jihad Watch definitely share.

This is grimly common. Relatives–especially femal relatives, notably mothers–lure the victims back.
And note two other things–the threat came because the victim resisted a forced marriage. Then, murdering her and covering up the crime was a family affair involving both parents, a brother, an uncle, and several cousins.
And not just the family–the uncle bragged to a friend that murdering his niece was “a job well done”.

I think it illustrates the vast amount most in the West haven’t appreciated the degree of brainwashing in Islam, Mothers can entrap their own daughters so they can be murdered, the sheer obscenity of it is beyond those in the West to grasp so they don’t try even if it get’s reported.
But what we also need to appreciate is what else they might be capable of?
