Pakistani PM urges OIC to counter ‘Islamophobia’ and ‘falsely equating’ Islam with ‘terrorism’

Khan also took issue with an EU Parliament’s resolution several days ago that called upon Pakistan to repeal its blasphemy laws and implement measures to ensure religious freedom.

His plea to the OIC also follows his call for Western countries to criminalize blasphemy and “Islamophobia.”

In a speech last week, Khan stated:

I want the Muslim countries to devise a joint line of action over the blasphemy issue with a warning of trade boycott of countries where such incidents will happen.

Khan’s hostile call came after “succumbing to the demands” of the jihadist group Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan. He “reassured the group that he shares the `same goals` as them.” The group has been demanding “the expulsion of the French ambassador and a boycott of French goods after Charlie Hebdo republished its Muhammad cartoons in September last year.” The only reluctance from Khan stems from the hundreds of millions of dollars that Pakistan receives from France.

It is appalling that Western dhimmis are still donating money to a country such as Pakistan, while slowly adopting in their own countries Pakistan’s blasphemy tenets, which condemn with punitive action any “offense” to Islam, amid persistent efforts to curb the freedom of speech.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday urged the Orga­nisation of Islamic Coopera­tion (OIC) to vehemently counter Islamophobia and falsely equating of Islam with radicalism and terrorism.

He also took serious note of the recent European Parliament’s resolution to review GSP plus status of Pakistan and said the government would hold negotiation with the European Union (EU) to delink the country’s GSP Plus status with blasphemy issues.

The prime minister presided over two meetings — one with over 30 OIC ambassadors and the other with the ruling Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders.

When contacted, Infor­mation Minister Fawad Chaudhry told Dawn that during the meeting with OIC envoys, the prime minister told them that Muslim countries had so far failed to convince the West that blasphemy of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) hurt the sentiments of over 1.5 billion Muslims in the world and was not an issue of freedom of expression.

He was of the view that whenever an incident of terrorism occurred, the West maligned the entire Muslim world which was absolutely wrong.

“An act of any individual should not be called an act of the entire Ummah,” he added.

PM Khan said Islam and the whole Muslim world strongly condemned terrorism perpetrated by any one and in any form and manifestation.

“But the whole Muslim Ummah should not be blamed for an act of an individual. Linking Islam with terrorism is absolutely unjustified,” he added.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Mr Khan met Islamabad-based ambassadors of countries belonging to the OIC to discuss ways to combat Islamophobia and promote interfaith harmony.

Mentioning the two letters addressed by him to the leaders of the Islamic world last year, the prime minister briefed the envoys on Pakistan’s efforts at the international level to create awareness of Islamophobia and the need to collectively address the phenomenon.

He emphasised that Pakistan’s initiatives were aimed at building mutual understanding and promoting interfaith harmony.

Noting that Islamophobic acts fan inter-religious hatred and disharmony among civilisations, the prime minister called for addressing the underlying reasons for the rise in such incidents worldwide.

“Falsely equating Islam with radicalism and terrorism was leading to marginalisation and stigmatisation of Muslims,” he added….

Pm Khan is such a hypocrite he should worry about the Christiaphobic incidents in Pakistan he said that linking terror with Islam is unjustified but it’s his own Koran that links Islam with terror for example it says Allah will cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers it’s slay the unbelievabers where ever you find them it’s the Koran that links islam with terror fact in a way by him denying that is blasphemy against his own religion

  5. How can pakistan boycott anything when they don’t have money to buy anything? For a country that lives off begging, it is interesting and comical to see it making economic threats.

    In the Star Trek movie “The Wrath of Khan,” Ceti eels were inserted in peoples ears so they would eat the person’s brain. Islam is like Ceti eel, gradually eating away Khan’s brain.

      The other thing that struck me is – Pakistan has no internal issues and everybody is living so peacefully that w/ that it frees up Imran Khan to focus on what Europe is doing wrt islam. Maybe Pakistan can tell the rest of us what they did to achieve that level of islamic nirvana

  8. Worry not, evidence can be considered, numbers of incidents can be counted, as well as the number of articles. Rational questions can be posed, like why aren’t the racists picking on the hindus and budhists?
    which has already happened. Most of us are aware and admit that islam is aggressive, violent, and calls for the conquest of non muslims. In G-d I trust.

    • I cant change the fact that some people hate the truth. We can’t change the fact that some people are willing to lie, to cover up the truth. We have to live through the situation of most of our people, especially the women, at first desiring for the media to cover up for the muslims. Most of them move on from that initial attempt at finding peaceful and reasonable resolutions. Some will chose to delude themselves and lie about the potential of peace to turn things around.
      But eventually, the non muslims will fight back. Especially the Jews, they will fight for themselves, long before the white gentiles do.

    mozlums daily say things that make me angry enough …almost…to curse, but they are glad to know that what they say is an offensive thing to Christians and Jews. So, they should realize the world is not a one-way street for them to have the only “right-of-way,” and everyone else is in violation.
    They should also be aware that, unlike them, Christians are taught , and commanded, to tell the “Truth”…even if it hurts someone’s feelings.

    And the “con-man” is late to the game…the oic talked with h clinton back 10 years ago about “shaming” the Americans so that the Truth wouldn’t get told about islam and the goals of mozlums the world over. it didn’t work because if one fears being killed or raped by a horde of …or one…mozlums, it isn’t a “phobia.” And many Americans are Christians who must tell the Truth. Many other Americans were raised with the principle of “honesty is the best policy” even if they aren’t Christian.
    I hope I have stepped on some mozlum toes because then I know that I’ve made their “god” un unhappy demon. Their filthy “prophet,” doesn’t know anything because he was devoured by maggots a long, long time ago.

Well I guess that this scumbag, Khan, is either a pathological liar, very common amongst Muslims, or he doesn’t know anything about the content of that evil book, the Koran, with all its calls for Muslims to go out and murder and terrorise non-Muslims. How dumb would a person have to be if they could not see the clear link between Islam and terrorist attacks. It is all there in the vile book, the Koran, which gives Muslims their instructions on how to live their lives. Khan must know this, so he is obviously a lying piece of crap. And he is running one of the most repulsive countries in the world. No surprise there when you hear his rantings and the endless stream of bullshit he continually comes out with. Islam should be criticised constantly and the obvious connection between islam and murderous terrorism should be mentioned continually. Eventually, even the slowest learners might get the message.

        Many of Islam’s most authoritative religious leaders and authorities have equated Islam with terrorism.

        Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been made victorious with terror.” – Sahih Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220

        Koran 058:5 – “Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger will be laid low.”

        Tafsir: as-Suyuti commends terrorism:
        “(If they break their oaths…) This ayah is used as a proof by those who say that if a dhimmi attacks Islam or the Qur’an or mentions the Prophet in a bad manner, HE IS KILLED, whether he has broken a treaty or not. Those who say that his repentance is accepted use as a proof, “hopefully they will stop.””

        Ziauddin Barani (1285 – 1357) says in his book Fatawa-i Jahandari:

        “Musalmans will be favored and honored; infidels and men of bad faith will be faced with destitution and disgrace; the orders of the unlawful fate and the opposed creeds will be erased; the laws of the shari’at will be enforced on the seventy-two communities; and the enemies of God and the Prophet, will be condemned, banished, repudiated, and TERRORIZED.” – Ziauddin Barani, Fatwa

      • That is it, no doubt, James. Khan definitely is lying, trying to fool the infidels, carrying out taqiyya. What bugs me about these lying Muslim maggots is the outrageous nature of their lying. I guess that they know that, no matter how massive the lie, there are people who will actually buy their bullshit. Terrorism and violence are so plainly absolutely central to islam. But still creatures like Khan must realise that some people will believe his completely outrageous lies. Apparently, from his words about islam’s basic peacefulness, the present Pope is one person who believes liars like Khan. There’s a guy on the radio out here who has a saying that, “Oh well, you can’t put brains in statues”. It is a weird saying, but I feel that people who still can’t see that violent Islam and terrorism go together must surely qualify as brainless statues rather than intelligent human beings. The evidence is all there, ( such as the quotes mortimer includes) but some people just can’t seem to join up the dots.
