Boehner is a member of the single-party political elite that holds sway in Washington. As Speaker, he was part of the controlled opposition, and is now engaged here in an act of defaming and attempting to destroy members of the genuine opposition. As for his use of the word “terrorist,” it’s noteworthy that in September 2014, as Speaker of the House, he voted in favor of aid to Syrian jihad groups that were ostensibly fighting against the Islamic State. The New York Times noted the “rare unity between House Speaker John A. Boehner of Ohio and Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the minority leader.”
Boehner would never have dreamed of calling the Syrian recipients of that American aid “terrorists,” yet Breitbart reported at the time that “the US-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA), Al Nusra Front, and the Islamic State have paired together in order to fight President Bashar al-Assad’s Syrian Armed Forces, according to statements from multiple commanders from within the FSA. ‘We are collaborating with the Islamic State and the Nusra Front by attacking the Syrian Army’s gatherings in… Qalamoun,’ said Bassel Idriss, a commander of a Free Syrian Army brigade.”
In July 2013, Free Syrian Army fighters entered the Christian village of Oum Sharshouh and began burning down houses and terrorizing the population, forcing 250 Christian families to flee the area. Worthy News reported that just two days later, Free Syrian Army rebels “targeted the residents of al-Duwayr/Douar, a Christian village close to the city of Homs and near Syria’s border with Lebanon….Around 350 armed militants forcefully entered the homes of Christian families who were all rounded-up in the main square of the village and then summarily executed.” And in September 2013, a day after Secretary of State John Kerry praised the Free Syrian Army as “a real moderate opposition,” the FSA took to the Internet to post videos of its attack on the ancient Syrian Christian city of Maaloula.
But for the unspeakable John Boehner, Jim Jordan and Ted Cruz are terrorists; the Free Syrian Army is not.

In his memoir, “On the House: A Washington Memoir” (St. Martin’s Press), Boehner writes that Mr. Trump incited the insurrection “for nothing more than selfish reasons, perpetuated by the [expletive] he’s been shoveling since he lost a fair election the previous November.” However, when pressed during the interview for “Sunday Morning,” Boehner would not go that far with his language….
Boehner and Dickerson also discuss how Congress has changed as a result of a group of extremists and how they threaten the health of the institution and the Republican Party, as well as how he is spending his time now that he is out of office.

Cruz and Jordan are most certainly not political terrorists; they merely have guts and speak the truth. Thus, for John Boehner to state what he did only redounds to his detriment and, by extension, is dipositive of just how many Republicans out there still remain clueless respecting what President Trump began and which is what people like Cruz and Jordan are trying to continue.
So through with Boehner, whom any true conservative can only despise and whom Leftists will use temporarily to bash conservatives and then throw away. He has no constituency except a bunch of fellow losers, hollow people all. They need to fade away. The sooner the better.

I used to be a big fan of Newt’s class of 1994, and people like John Kasich, John Boehner, Joe Scarborough were all a big part of it. It’s sad to see so many of them betray the conservative movement just as it was becoming successful. None of them could produce a leader that could keep out the Clintons or Obama, and neither really could the Bushes

I certainly share your frustration with the Republican Party. That being said, it would be interesting to find out the percent of RINOs serving in Congress as well as the percent in the voting population.
It could be that RINOs are actually quite rare in the voting population. Since they are anonymous, they could just vote Democrat – and no one would know unless they self disclosed on some survey.
Even Pres. Trump knows that is a big gamble to start a new say, “Patriot Party” without knowing how it would play out in the real political world. Vote splitting, etc.
Bottom line: re-energize the existing Republican Party with true American patriots and kick all RINOs to the curb…

If the GOP was really a Trump party, they’d have upheld him on January 6th, when he challenged the results of the elections. Instead, not just the senate, but even in the house, he had very thin support. Best evidence of that was Liz Cheney winning her bid to remain House conference chair. She may either be primaried in Wyoming or not run, but that didn’t stop her from winning this contest. If the house GOP was really a Trump group, Jim Jordan would have been their leader, and Liz Cheney shown the door
Since there is no mechanism to kick out the grifters and ankle-biters from the party (just like there is no mechanism to kick Turkey out of NATO), forming a new party is the cleanest way to do it. Normally, one would be right about the chances of a third party, but if within the GOP people can only win by claiming Trump support, then it’s just as likely that a Patriot Party would trounce at least the GOP, if not the Dems
