There is no indication in this article as to where Sahayb Abu got the idea that supporting ISIS and doing violence to non-Muslims was his duty before Allah. Has his mosque been investigated? Why not?

LONDON (Reuters) – A man who made music videos about his admiration for Islamic State was convicted on Friday for planning a terrorist attack in Britain, London’s Metropolitan Police said.
Sahayb Abu, 27, ordered weapons, equipment and clothing online in preparation for an attack, the police said, and was detained in an armed police operation after ordering a large sword online….
Police seized electronic devices from Abu when he was arrested on July 9, and found video and voice messages where Abu recited lyrics describing himself as a “straight ISIS supporter” and referring to having a suicide vest.
Abu had denied planning a terrorist attack and said equipment he had purchased was for parody “drill” music videos, a form of rap that focuses on violence and crime.

The first investigative step for the police should be the indoctrination center, I mean mosque.
The mosque of anyone convicted of any terrorist activity should be closed down, the imam investigated or deported, any assets of the family, the mosque and the imam’s family confiscated to pay for any costs involved, such as court costs, medical treatment of victims etc. then these mudslimes should be stripped of their citizenship and deported back to whatever Islamic paradise they invaded from.

You would think the detectives would find the source of the ideas in order to dry them up or perhaps look for the ‘bigger fish’, rather than this small fry.
British intel and politicians will have eventually to realize the ISLAMISM and JIHADISM are constituent components of ISLAM PER SE … that’s ISLAMISM and JIHADISM are the political expressions of Islam, rather than mere ‘aberrations’.
