Le Pen, who is now at a record high in popularity polls, has already proposed a ban on “totalitarian, murderous Islamist ideologies.” Her popularity is now causing panic in the EU, as insiders are predicting an “enormous revolution” by populists in Brussels. Le Pen has seen a big change from two years ago, when she was ordered to undergo psychiatric tests by a court simply for posting photos to impress the truth about the dangers of the Islamic State upon the French public:
Marine Le Pen posted the Isis pictures just a few weeks after the Paris terror attacks in November 2015 in which 130 people were killed. The images included a photo of the decapitated body of US journalist James Foley.
But France witnessed an even worse display, and not even from the Islamic State. They saw last October what Islamic blasphemy laws could look like in their own country, when schoolteacher Samuel Paty was beheaded for blasphemy because he showed Muhammad cartoons to his students in a class about freedom of expression. France then began to wake up.

The National Assembly on Thursday evening unanimously gave the green light to the new offense of “separatism”, one of the flagship measures of the bill “reinforcing respect for the principles of the Republic”, wanted by Emmanuel Macron. This bill – officially named the “bill reinforcing republican principles” – is considered “important” by 81% of French people, according to an Ifop poll for Cnews and Sud Radio unveiled this Friday, February 5.
In detail, 34% consider it “a high priority” and 47% “important but not a priority”. The remaining 19% consider the subject to be “secondary”.
Supporters of the Republicans are most inclined to rank the bill as a priority (58%), ahead of those of the National Rally (50%). Those polled declaring themselves close to the ideas of La France insoumise [Rebellious France] are, on the contrary, the most likely to find the theme not essential, but only 31%. Those under 35 are also the least convinced (27%).
The measures relating to the religious neutrality of officials responsible for a public service mission, to the strengthening of the financial transparency of Muslim places of worship and to the signing of a contract of employment to benefit from public subsidies are those winning the most support among the entire population (88%, 86% and 83% respectively). That on the ending of home education, except for health reasons, is less approved, even if the approval rate remains high (63%).
Regarding the principle of religious neutrality in public service, approval even reached huge numbers among LR and LREM supporters, with 98 and 97%. The supporters of the Socialist Party are even more attached to it (92%) than those of the RN (88%). On the side of La France insoumise, the rate is also significant (80%).
It is also interesting to note that those under 35 are very divided on the measure on the ending of home schooling (50% approve, 50% do not). On the other hand, it won support among those over 35 (68%).
MARINE LE PEN GETS THE MOST CONFIDENCE ON THE SUBJECT
A little over a year from the presidential election, part of the poll may well interest future candidates. Indeed, Ifop asked respondents whom they trusted from a list of political figures to fight Islamic separatism.
Marine Le Pen is in the lead, with a 46% favorable opinion, ahead of Emmanuel Macron (43%), Xavier Bertrand (LR, 38%), Gérald Darmanin (35%) and Jean Castex (35%). Jean-Luc Mélenchon (LFI) is far behind, with 22% of people trusting him to solve this problem….

And I always thought that French for pen was “plume”–or the newer “stylo” (ballpoint pen). But I decided to look up Le Pen and Google translate says this also means “the pen”. Any French speakers here who can clarify?

It could be a foreign loan word used in French the way other countries borrow a few words from foreign languages. We know they are foreign but they spice up the language

Yeah, her numbers now are as relevant as President Trump’s numbers in 2018 or 2019. She needs to keep that momentum going for the next 2 years. I’m glad that she’s doing well, except that Macron has been doing better than his predecessor at this time in 2017

As I recall when Macron woke up 3 months ago, and discovered he had a back bone, after the beheading of the French teacher. He is a cynical lefty, who realised he had to “Appear” to get tough or Le Pen was going to exploit the situation for all it was worth, and increase her popularity way above his.
It will be interesting to see how stiff his spine is with the French election less than 18 months away.

Need to spread them like wildfire. Just persuade the older folks to overcome the fear of having these sites found on their devices.
Techniques like loading op-sys to USB and saving files there could be encouraged.

It would be great to see Le Pen win power. It would be extraordinarily significant to see a country as big as France get really tough with the Muslim invaders. I read here at Jihad Watch a while back that France has over 8% Muslims and I thought, well, France is probably too far gone to take back its country short of a civil war. France has left it very late, letting Muslims reach 8% of the population, but maybe they can still stand up and take back the country. Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia have been showing the way and, if France now gets stuck into its Muslim invaders it will be a terrific development. Maybe other western European countries will , finally, follow the lead being given.

Yes, James, I would love to see a country as significant as France wake up and deal with Islam and its adherents in what I consider to be an appropriate, tough way. That 8% of France’s population being Muslims seems a huge problem to me. I think that France will face plenty of violence if it tries to deal with the Muslim enemy because there are just too many Muslims there. I think that any country that lets Muslims reach such a large percentage of its population has made a massive blunder. Hungary’s approach of not letting the enemy in in the first place is surely the smartest way to go. I’d love to see Le Pen get a chance to try to save France and, as you say, provide an example for the rest of western Europe to follow.

If Marine Pen was to win the gig then perhaps, and ONLY perhaps, this islamic madness will be stopped in its tracks, however it may also make those backward goat shaggers even angrier, and that in turn may cause the rest of the French public to really wake up and take notice that their country, culture,traditions, are all close to be taken away and replaced by a savage backward belief system akin to a Fascist Religious Cult.
Mid 2022 is a long ways away, so how many islamic attacks will there be in Europe by then?>
