The IUMS is the largest organization of Muslim scholars; its position reflects the normative Islamic views of Jews and of Israel.
The head of the IUMS, Ahmad Al-Raissouni, is a Moroccan jurist. He said that the IUMS is “committed to nullify and refute all the efforts of pro-normalisation parties and sheikhs affiliated with them, who attempt to distort facts and mislead the public in order to justify the crime of normalisation in the name of Islam.”
Normative Islam indeed does not permit normalization with Israel. This is precisely the reason for the tug of war among Islamic states and between Islamic clerics. The issue is a heated one that strikes at the core of Islamic doctrine as elaborated in the Quran and the Hadiths.
Dr. Tawfik Hamid, who was raised a Muslim and became a member of the jihadist organization, Jamaa Islamia, in Egypt, but then abandoned the life of jihad in pursuit of modernization of Islam, attests to this truth:
The entire issue with the West and Israel in the Muslim world is one of supremacy. If you dig deeply into reality, China, for example, treats its Muslim minority much worse than in other parts of the world.
In the West, Muslims have rights, and in Israel, they have full rights as Israeli citizens, even rights through Sharia courts. Muslims also have mosques in Israel, and can freely worship.
So logically, Islamists should go and attack China, not Israel and the West, but for them, the concept of superiority makes them go after America, because Muslims want to be number one like America.
Throughout history, the religion was based on supremacy. In the case of Israel, it hits Islamists at the core when a small country like Israel defeats them.
Even with all the money they have, with all the oil they have and with some 200 million Muslims, they still can’t get rid of Israel. For them, it’s an issue of challenging their supremacy, and their feeling of supremacy is vital to their religion.
Let me give you one example of a scholar I challenged in front of an audience, who is described as a “moderate” imam in Dearborn, Michigan. I asked him if he would mind inviting me and some Jewish
friends to his mosque at Friday prayer, and whether he will say out loud in front of the audience that Jews are not pigs and monkeys, but he did not say one word. This man was pretending to be a moderate, but he will not answer me in public. I challenge such leaders to put words on their websites and say publicly that they do not approve of calling Jews apes and pigs if they are moderates, since a real moderate will say it publicly. An Islamist will not.Going back to Muslim supremacy: for Muslims, the ability to show power gives them the psychological satisfaction that the religion is correct and is coming from God. When Muslims start to question the reality of their religion and whether it is truly from God or not, this creates psychological frustration.
It is a deep psychological phenomenon and it is all about supremacy.
Islam views Jews (and Israel) as enemies. Given today’s economic challenges faced by Muslim states — from oil prices to wars — it is expedient to form alliances with infidel countries. Whether the basis for normalizing relations with Israel is purely for convenience or a move toward modernization (the former is more likely), it bodes well for Israel and Western interests. But there remain those who adamantly refuse to normalize relations with Israel despite tangible benefits, and their refusal is indeed “in the name of Islam.”
Many will continue to hide their real motivation behind the Palestinian issue in a world that has become increasingly skeptical about Islam. However, those who exploit the Palestinian cause as a reason for anti-normalization know full well that the entire Palestinian resistance has always been about a one-state solution (even Rashida Tlaib recognizes it) and the total destruction of Israel, in keeping with Islamic doctrine.

Mr. Ahmad Al-Raissouni does not seem to be aware that Morocco was simply using the art of Taqqiya and Kitman. Muslims are ordered to lie to deceive the infidels and this is therefore simply more deception (indeed it must be since Islam is evil).
It is strange that Taqqiya is so badly coordinated and that Muslims seem to not to understand when other Muslims use it even though it should be pretty obvious given its centrality in Islam.
Anyways, Islam and Muslims are evil so no need to think too much more about this.

It remains to be seen whether Morocco is serious about genuine peace with Israel or not.
But these Islamic scholars are shocked by the very prosepect that Morocco may have committed to not murdering Jews–ELI doesn’t want us to notice that.
As for Taqiyya, it is just a tactic of Islam–one of many. Some Muslims use it constantly, some use is only in certain cases, and some believe that since it is a back-handed acknowledgement that Muslims are not yet in power globally that it should never be used. Of course, ELI knows this–he just hopes we do not..

Agree. You cannot trust any muslim. As for the “peace agreement” it doesn´t exist in quran, only hudna which is approx. “cease fire” used when the muslims feels endangered or if they act is good for islam

International Union of Islamic Scholars. How impressive, the title is made to make you think these are great men with world wide knowledge. In my working with university professors, I’ve come to realize that Phd. stands for PILED HIGH and DEEPER and yes we are talking BULLSHIT spreaders. The Islamic public relations firm is doing its best to convince the world of the great knowledge of islamic leaders. The problem with islamic leaders is they have a vary narrow view of the world and their religious ideology controls their thought process 100%. When you can’t see out of the box, you never see the train coming or the truth. Islam is a train wreck and their approach to using violence and intimidation to spread its ideology will once again end in their destruction.
