Ned May, the man behind the website Gates of Vienna, recently joined Jihad Watch contributor Andrew E. Harrod on his weekly Conservative Casual Fridayblogtalk radio show to discuss recent jihadist attacks in Europe.

It is a good broad cast.
However the radio set up replay, gives no control over stopping and starting this broadcast.
It seems to be all or nothing.
Nor can one move it to where you left off, so one has to restart at the beginning.
Either I am missing something, moved the cursor all over, and tried a number of clicks on things to no avail.
That would also be very good, though they speak quite clearly, for ones figuring for accent, or more importantly want to repeat critical parts to gain a full understanding, or to verify your understanding.
It is not possible.
If one wants they can find by clicking on the “tag” “gates of vienna” where one can find other interviews with Ned May.
The “Ned May” tag divides up into many page of either Ned or May.
I do appreciate the time put into this, but one needs to dedicate an hour to start with.
So really have to make sure that you can listen to it in one block,
Well worth the background, for a better understanding and perspective of islam
When I have time, another day, will take in the whole audio in the one hit. 🙂
Thanks to Robert Spencer, his contributors, and Andrew Harrod, and Ned May, and many other commentators on this blog.
A Merry Christmas, as we reflect & give thanks on this past year, and weigh up on how to live life and be true in the coming year.

You can simply move your cursor along the red track displaying the show time progress at the episode website to come to any specific spot in the program. You can also download the program as an MP3 file.

Thanks AH & JS.
I found that if I zoomed magnification on the screen. then that “red track” seemed to pop up, and then was usable, as I did not want to listen to it in 1 go, and it was good to stop and start, and some parts to re-listen.
Must be something in the operating systems of my computer, some how.
No simple answer, as it seems the political class, experts, techno-bureau-crats want to do what they figure is the “global good”.
National populism, that is to hear the citizen and what he thinks is where it may take another 10 years to change.
That may be too late? or secession, ‘balkanisation’.
Appreciated the point on how islam makes agreements that then can be used to take out ‘natural allies’ for them to take advantage of to build their beach-heads, consolidate, and then take on the next chew-able piece.
It was good to listen, and take in NM’s perspective.

If you click on the ‘cloud’ icon on the upper right of the player you will be able to download the entire interview. This will enable you to play it in your browser and also start and stop it at any time.
If Conservative Casual Friday has an RSS feed, and nearly all online radio shows do, you will also be able to listen to the interview in a podcast app which will give you even finer control.
Cheers
