France faces a new wave of asylum seekers from Afghanistan, with many coming from conservative areas and some openly supporting groups like the Taliban.
Over the last five years, the number of Afghans arriving in France has increased fivefold from just over 2,100 asylum seekers at the height of the migrant crisis in 2015 to nearly 10,000 reaching in the country last year.
According to a report from Le Figaro, Afghan migrants made up 90 per cent of the 3,500 residents of a makeshift migrant camp in the north of Paris that authorities dismantled just weeks ago.
“While waiting for their asylum application to be considered, or after a refusal, many traffic cigarettes or drugs in an attempt to meet their needs,” a police source told the French newspaper.
While previously many of the Afghans coming to France were political refugees from urban areas, the latest migrants arriving are mostly Pashtuns from rural villages along the border with Pakistan, a Taliban stronghold area. Many are simply economic migrants, looking for a better life.
According to researcher Karim Pakzad, the new migrants “are radicalised. They are imbued with a very conservative, very retrograde Islam, where violence against women is considered normal.”
“They are often in favour of the Taliban. For them, it is unthinkable, for example, to caricature the Prophet Mohammed,” he added….

This is BS. How dare you blame the mentality and behavior of Arabs today on Islam?? They come from a desert, bedouin society. As for their treatment of women, assuming you believe the stereotype, they did not get this from Islam. The prophet Muhammad never beat his wives or abused them. Aside from a minor hadith (verbal heresay) where he poked Aisha in the chest, all historical records point to him being very loving and generous towards all of his wives. In fact, he revered Khadijah (first wife) so much, that he never took another wife while she was alive. Mind you, that this was during polygamy when there were no numerical limits on how many wives a man could have. It was also the time of child marriage, wanton abuse and oppression of women, and femicide. And lets not even get started on the colonial history of France. Many african countries are still a basket case because of the terrorism and racism they inflicted. Now, they complain of problems with their former colonial subjects in their own land. Talk about chickens coming home to roost as Malcolm X was fond of say. Sorry France, NOT SORRY!

Only one Muslim country was colonized: Algeria. Several others were ruled by European imperialists, but only for a short time. Imperial rule actually advanced the Muslim countries by providing protection for religious minorities and ending the infidel tax, or jizya. Many schools were built and the infrastructure improved. After the Europeans left, the region devolved back considerably into factional warfare and religious reaction, the persecution of minorities and political repression.

And the Muslim world is the way it is because of Islam,not Western colonialism. Lots of countries were colonized at some point, but Muslim countries are uniquely, and consistently, f*cked up. Definitely male, no female today would like to have been one of Muhammad’s wives and sex slaves anymore than being among King David’s wives and concubines. However, unlike Jews, too many Muslim males keep dreaming that somehow that is still possible in the more civilized world.
That retrograde world only exists in Islam and when it comes to Allah vs China we already know which will prevail. The US was the first significant pushback to Islam since WWI and China will be the second when they discover Islam is a roadblock to the BRI.

Muhammad exploited women from living off his first wife to sleeping with a woman after having her husband tortured to death; not to mention demanding his child bride from a friend. His edicts in the Quran and Hadith reduced women to chattel and breeding stock while permitting the rape of captured women.
Don’t blame Muhammad’s true character on uneducated tribal Arabs who are exactly what Muhammad was. They are living the authentic Islam – Muhammad’s example.
No matter how much Islamists try to change the image of Islam, the anchor of Islam’s own brutal writings will forever be dragging behnd it. Histories may be rewritten and criticism purged yet the Quran, Hadith, and Sira will always testify about the murderous character of Muhammad, the diminshment of women, and the inabilty of Islam to negotiate a modern world without expressing violence.

People of afghanistan had plenty of opportunity to see how women and little children should be treated and they didn’t want it that way.
