Most major Muslim organizations in the U.S. are linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, which has the stated goal (according to a captured internal document) in America of “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within, and sabotaging its miserable house.”
Meanwhile, in Egypt, while the crackdown on the Brotherhood proceeds, the Egyptian government lets Brotherhood members and sympathizers blow off steam by turning a blind eye as they target Christians.
“Egypt begins dismissing imams based on Brotherhood ties,” Al-Monitor, December 9, 2020:
CAIRO — Egypt’s Minister of Religious Endowments Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa issued Dec. 1 a decision terminating the service of an imam and preacher in Port Said governorate based on a judicial ruling.
In a statement issued on the same day, the Ministry of Religious Endowments said that based on the ruling issued against Abd al-Rahman Ahmed Qandil, the imam and preacher of the Port Said Endowments, the dismissal decision included a warning to all mosques of the republic not to allow him to mount the pulpit, give lessons or lead any prayers in mosques.
A source at the ministry told Al-Monitor on condition of anonymity that the ruling issued against Qandil proves his affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood group. The ruling, he said, was transferred to the Human Resources Department at the ministry, which upheld the imam’s illegibility to continue practicing his job. Gomaa subsequently issued a decision to officially dismiss him, he added.
The source said this decision is not the first of its kind, as Gomaa had launched a major campaign several years ago to cleanse the ministry of the remnants of the Muslim Brotherhood and of those who follow its ideology and methodology.
He pointed out that based on judicial rulings, the Ministry of Religious Endowments dismissed Nov. 4 four imams and revoked the license of another. They include Ahmed Muhammad Jumah Salem, Muhammad Abdullah Hussein al-Jabali, Omar Hamid Tamam, Muhammad Muhammad Abd al-Sami and Abd al-Wahhab Mustafa Mustafa Khoder….

Al-Monitor speaks of “the Muslim Brotherhood and of those who follow its ideology and methodology”. This nourishes the erroneous impression that the MB’s ideology and methodology are something different from Islam. Not so. The MB adheres closely to the instructions in the Koran – “The Koran is our law”. It is a hardline observant muslim Sharia-compliant group. The ideology they espouse – Islam – is what Al-Sisi was saying needed to be reinterpreted to be more fitting for the modern world.
Samed Abdel-Hamad in Germany, a now ex-muslim son of an Egyptian imam, says “Islam offers no answers to the questions of modern life”.

The MB may in fairness be called the Egyptian fascist party.

I honestly don’t see much difference b/w El-Sisi and a Muslim Brotherhood regime, at least as far as the Copts go. Internationally, yeah, an Ikhwan regime would be pro Turkey, unlike a Sisi regime that is pro Saudi. But other than that, nothing to choose from b/w them

This is really easy to understand.
Just think of two criminal gangs operating on the streets of Chicago, NY or LA (or any other city, large or small). These gangs may be made up of the same races/ethnicities, but they both want the same territory to prowl, deal drugs, extort funds from the businesses, pimp, traffic in whatever: weapons, car parts, etc.
Mafia families don’t get along unless they group together to fight LE. During normal business, they all want to be top-of-the-heap and kill to get there.
The mb and the present moslim-ruled government of Egypt by el sisi, have the same instruction book, same background of islam must be spread by whatever means is most expedient at the time, down on, persecuting and murdering Christians and other non moslims, etc. But each wants to be on top…to be reaping the monetary benefits and making the decisions about where and whom to terrorize.
Because el sisi is on top at the moment, he’s using his power to take down his competition. sisi is isis backward, but they depend on the same filthy book for how to terrorize others.
