Western society has become accustomed to upholding a high standard for Jews and Christians and a low one for Muslims. One would gasp at any Jewish or Christian scholar who said that any act of violence done in the name of either religion was a “great honor.” This soft bigotry of low expectations for Muslims strengthens the jihad against the West and its freedoms, which benefit people of all races and creeds.
