In Spain, a peaceful tourist attraction was close to becoming the site of a devastating jihad attack. The perpetrators were of Algerian descent. They were preparing for a jihad attack by making explosive devices. Spanish authorities also stated the jihadis were learning how to obtain weapons for further destruction. Fortunately, the Spanish authorities were able to track their activity and neutralize the jihadis as part of operation Alexandria.
According to Al Jazeera, 16 suspected Islamic State (ISIS) fighters have been arrested in Spain since the beginning of the year. The Spanish authorities should be commended for their work for arresting the jihadis before they acted. Spain is becoming a major target of jihad, as the jihadis do not want to allow the kaffirs to remain in control of land that was dominated by the Muslims for nearly eight centuries. We always hear from Islamic apologists and Marxists that Medieval Spain was the site of the Golden Age of Islam. This is far from the truth; it was actually a place where the killing of blasphemers and the stoning adulterers were practiced. It was also where Muslims took infidel girls and women as sex slaves, and the list can go on. The reality of Islamic Spain was persecution of non-Muslims. Some Muslims now want to repeat the conquest of Spain that enabled that persecution. Muslims didn’t enter Spain for reasons of self-defence or because they wanted to engage in peaceful dawah. The Muslim entry into Spain was a jihadi invasion, as is instructed in the Koran (9:29); the goal is to subjugate non-believers and establish Islamic law. I don’t really see any mainstream Muslims actually condemning this potential jihad attack. Instead, they continue to try to inform non-Muslim audiences that Islam and Sharia are amazing. The reason why these jihadis wanted to orchestrate this terrorist attack was to make the non-Muslims to capitulate under Islam and to feel the force of Islam. We must address the motivating ideology of what inspired the jihadis. Mohammed stated that he has ‘’been made victorious through terror’’ (Sahih Bukhari 2977) and Muslims are ordered to strike “terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved” (Surah 8:12). Also, the Koran states in surah 9:5: “Slay the non-believers wherever you find them”, and in 8:39 it states “get rid of fitnah and make religion all for Allah”. None of this is peaceful at all; the real reason why these jihad attacks are being facilitated is because of Islam, the motivating ideology behind efforts for the destruction of Western civilization.
Authorities in Europe need to stop bowing to political correctness and begin working more energetically to prevent these jihad attacks and preserving the well-being of their citizens.
