Here is the publisher’s writeup:
What are the national security implications of large-scale mass migration? How can foreign threats — from both state and non-state actors — exploit mass migration to cause upheaval and create an existential threat to a nation?
The Center for Security Policy looks at these and related issues in its newest publication, Mass Migration in Europe: A Model for the U.S.?, by well-known author Robert Spencer.
Spencer – the author of 21 books – is the director of Jihad Watch, a blog which documents jihadist threats and seeks to explain the role of Islamic legal doctrine, history, and theology in motivating jihadist violence. Spencer is Center for Security Policy Senior Fellow, as well as Shillman Fellow with the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
In Mass Migration in Europe: A Model for the U.S. Spencer explores how European elites sought out mass migration from the Arab and Muslim world as a panacea, only to find themselves overwhelmed by cultural, societal and security challenges that have threatened their pan-European utopian vision. Included among these challenges are skyrocketing crime, growing terror threats, the growing spread of radical Islam and an undermining of national unity and cultural confidence in countries across the European continent.
Examining controversial but important issues like the rise of European “No Go Zones” where increasingly European law enforcement is unable, or unwilling to maintain order; cultural and assimilation challenges such as the adaptation of Sharia law courts in Britain, and the increasing threat to freedom of speech as European elites seek to curtail – by any available means – growing criticism of their failed policies in the wake of a rising populist reaction, and how some populist leaders off an alternative approach.
Perhaps most importantly, Spencer examines what lessons Americans should draw from the situation in Europe.
“This book reveals the self-destructive nature of European policies that, if left unchanged, will certainly lead to the downfall of Europe. It provides a chilling insight into the process and consequences of mass migration to a continent once characterized by western liberty, but now on the verge of Islamization. Brave Americans who are determined to let freedom triumph should learn from the mistakes made in Europe. This exceptionally fascinating book by Robert Spencer with an ominous message should inspire all to protect western freedom, identity and security and stand up against Islamization.” (Geert Wilders)
“Robert Spencer is an indefatigable and meticulous scholar of Islam and its relentless drive to impose its rule by any means necessary. His new book is an indispensable map of the future that awaits Americans if we open our borders to this Islamic jihad, whose methods are both demographic and violent. Mass Migration in Europe is a must read for everyone who loves their country.” (David Horowitz, author of Dark Agenda: The War to Destroy Christian America)
“Robert Spencer here explores the curious phenomenon of European suicide in all its dimensions, exposing the complicity of politicians, journalists and many others at all strata of society in this suicide. The suicide of Europe this book so meticulously documents is essentially left wing phenomenon, a manifestation of the left-wing fascism that we see also in America today. Mass Migration in Europe: A Model for the US? is well-written, thoughtful, and well-documented. Above all, it is extremely timely, and should lead some people to wake up before it is too late.” (Ibn Warraq, author of Why I Am Not A Muslim, The West is Best, and The Quest for the Historical Muhammad)
“The startling transformation of the European Union into ‘Eurabia’ has not been a spontaneous development. In Mass Migration in Europe: A Model for the US?, Robert Spencer, America’s most studious and clear-eyed observer of Islam’s advance in the West, demonstrates that it results from long-term planning, implementation, and dissembling by European political elites and sharia-supremacist ideologues. The United States will either learn from this history, or repeat it – with all the cultural friction and upheaval it promises.” (Andrew C. McCarthy, bestselling author, former federal prosecutor, and National Review contributing editor)
“Yet another eye-opening book by Robert Spencer that sheds light on Europe’s dilemma after incorporating massive numbers of Muslim migrants who’s value system is against assimilation. America should learn from Europe’s example of loosing their cultural identity, loosing the structure of society’s law and order, loosing western freedoms, equal rights under the law and above all having to yield to a culture that wants to replace rather than coexist.” (Nonie Darwish)
