Trudeau claimed that he and his office only learned about the criminal charges on June 5, when the news broke, but the party was warned about these allegations repeatedly over five years. Tabbara was also approved to run for the Liberal Party in the October 2019 federal election “despite a party investigation into allegations of sexual harassment made against him“; and also despite Trudeau’s own “zero-tolerance policy on sexual misconduct in the workplace.” Allegations against Tabbara “include unwanted touching and lewd comments aimed at a female staffer.”
Trudeau’s latest Islamopandering to Tabbara comes as no surprise, given Trudeau’s record. Everyone knows by now that the virtue-signalling Trudeau has a double standard, from his blackface antics to his groping of a female reporter. Add on his Islamopandering, and it’s obvious that “tolerance” for Trudeau is a shifting goal post. Even the controversial Muslim voting guide said Trudeau’s blackface was acceptable because of his stand against “Islamophobia.” The Trudeau government’s Islamic supremacist entryist problem makes the latest news about MP Marwan Tabbara no surprise.
What’s more, in 2018, the Palestinian Authority’s “diplomatic representatives in Ottawa honored Canada-Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Group Head Marwan Tabbara, in a ceremony.”
The PA Charter’s original mandate states that its goal to obliterate Israel. Tabbara’s group is deemed “a vital tool to promote solidarity, dialogue and reflection on the status of the Palestinian people.” The group’s vision has been realized by Trudeau. In May of last year, Palestinian diplomats thanked the Trudeau government for rejecting the US embassy move to Jerusalem. Then in November, Trudeau broke with Canada’s tradition to throw his support at the UN behind a pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel UN resolution.
Tabbara, a Lebanese migrant whose family fled the Lebanese civil war, has a history of wearing his political biases on his sleeve. During the 2015 pre-election political debates, Tabbara boasted that former Liberal Prime Minister Jean Chretien (1993-2003) “refused to send troops into Afghanistan,” even though Canada began sending troops to Afghanistan in 2001. When challenged about his foreign affairs views by a Conservative candidate during the debate, he retorted: “So is bombing Syrian children OK?” (Tabbara later apologized.) His remarks shocked the Conservative candidate, who responded:
“I do appreciate that he apologized, but it still makes me wonder about the underlying thought process of the Liberal Party.”
Valid question. More about Tabbara: The Association of Palestinian Arab Canadians (APAC) hosted Palestine Day on Parliament Hill in April of which Tabbara was present; along with a “number of Arab and foreign ambassadors” who were among them–who advance the Palestinian agenda at the UN, which condemns Israel as an “occupier”. A number of other Canadian parliamentarians besides Tabbara also attended the event.
In 2018, Tabbara hand-delivered a letter by 300 academics “urging Trudeau to condemn Israeli violence against Gazans.” This was after violent Palestinian riots in Gaza, framed as protests that saw at least 60 Palestinians killed, 50 of which turned out to be Hamas operatives. Tabarra’s letter asked: “How many Palestinians need to die or be maimed for life before we wake up and take action against what is now being condemned by a number of international aid and human rights organizations as blatant violations of international law constituting war crimes?” the letter asks, leaving out the obvious history of Palestinian jihad against Israelis and the very existence of Israel.”

Member of Parliament Marwan Tabbara — who had a court hearing today on assault and criminal harassment charges — was approved to run for the Liberals in the 2019 federal election despite a party investigation into allegations of sexual harassment made against him during his last mandate, CBC News has learned.
The Liberals looked into detailed allegations of misconduct made against the Kitchener South-Hespeler MP that included inappropriate touching and unwelcome sexual comments directed at a female staffer, according to sources with knowledge of the allegations. The allegations date back to the 2015 election campaign, the source said.
The sources who spoke to CBC News requested anonymity, citing the risk of being blacklisted within Liberal circles and it negatively impacting their careers.
CBC News has confirmed the party’s internal investigation determined that some of the allegations were substantiated, but has not been able to learn whether Tabbara faced any consequences.
Despite Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s zero-tolerance policy on sexual misconduct in the workplace, the party approved Tabbara as a Liberal candidate last year.
The decision to clear Tabbara to run as a Liberal took the party’s Greenlight Committee more than six months to make — an unusually long period of time for an incumbent, according to a government source with knowledge of the investigation.
Tabbara, the past chair of the Commons committee on international human rights, stepped away from the Liberal caucus two weeks ago but is still working as an MP. He left the caucus after CBC and Global reported on his arrest by Guelph Police on April 10 for a different incident.
He has a scheduled court date in Guelph today for two counts of assault, one count of “break and enter and commit an indictable offence” and one count of criminal harassment….
