This will most likely not shake his faith in Allah. This will most likely make him think that he was not pious enough, and that he must redouble his efforts to please Allah. This is the kind of thinking that leads some Muslims to commit acts of jihad violence also. Since Muhammad declared jihad the greatest of all deeds, some Muslims resort to it in order to balance the weight of their sins on Allah’s scales (cf. Qur’an 21:47).

“‘Tik-Toker Sameer Khan who mocked face masks tested Corona+ (VIDEO),” Newsroom Post, April 11, 2020 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
New Delhi: A youth from Madhya Pradesh named Samir Khan is seen mocking coronavirus masks in his TikTok videos, now tests positive for coronavirus. Yes it’s also a case of tragic irony.
Ever since the Coronavirus had hit the world there is thousands of videos were posted on TikTok where many Muslim users had made various claims like the Coronavirus is the NRC of Allah, that if one prays to Allah regularly then the virus can’t attack them etc.
Sameer also posted a similar kind of video on Tik Tok, where he mocked use if masks and said that his god will save him not this piece of cloth.
But now he has posted a video, wearing a mask on his face and cap on head, lying in a hospital bed, telling that times are bad for him….
