It is with sadness that Jihad Watch says goodbye to a comrade in the war against jihad terror and a stalwart defender of freedom, Philip Haney, known as the “DHS Whistleblower.”
A note from Haney’s friend, Kyle Reyes, national spokesman for Law Enforcement Today:
I don’t know what happened in our brother’s final moments. I think it’s safe to say that we probably never will know. But here’s a man who fought every single day to try and prevent America from falling at the hands of those who’d like to see Her burn. And for that… for that sacrifice… for that fortitude… we owe the man our undying gratitude.
Rest in peace, brother.
According to the Amador County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office:
Haney’s body was found with a gunshot wound Friday morning by his car on a highway in Plymouth, California. A firearm was reported found next to Haney.
On February 21, 2020 at approximately 1012 hours, deputies and detectives responded to the area of Highway 124 and Highway 16 in Plymouth to the report of a male subject on the ground with a gunshot wound. Upon their arrival, they located and identified 66 year old Philip Haney, who was deceased and appeared to have suffered a single, self-inflicted gunshot wound. A firearm was located next to Haney and his vehicle. This investigation is active and ongoing. No further details will be released at this time
However, Representative Steve King posted on Twitter that Philip Haney did not kill himself, and other friends said that they, too, do not believe that Haney’s death was a suicide, but that Haney “was praising God for a breakthrough!” And “He warned something could happen to him. He was to get married in a month. It will be falsely called a suicide.” A Law Enforcement Today headline reads: “Police: Obama whistleblower ‘died of self-inflicted gunshot’. Friends: ‘Absolutely not’.”
Whatever the circumstances of his death really were, his passing is a great loss for the nation.
Philip Haney delivered a critical speech at an Act for America Conference in 2016, in which he discussed the little-known direct link between al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. He also warned about the Obama Administration and the Progressive drive to destroy the American constitution.

- Sharia law opposes all forms of government including the US Constitution hence the Leftist-Islamic alliance. The Sharia is deemed to be god’s grace and gift to mankind, therefore it is the duty and intention of Muslims to advance this ‘gift’ to the world. “There are no exemptions to this force of gravity [Sharia] that keeps all of the planets in the Islamic solar system orbiting it and in place.”
- Haney emphasizes that being accused of ‘Islamophobic bigotry’ now applies to those who defend the American constitution.
- Haney’s discussion of the relationship between the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda reveals that it was included in the original Muslim Brotherhood Explanatory Memorandum. He explains that “al Qaeda is not an organization. It is a concept that was formulated and crystalized by the Muslim Brotherhood “ in the U.S. as early as 1987.
- Haney then warns is that observant Muslims who embrace the Sharia are a focal point in civilizational jihad. The influx of these ‘believers’ into Western domains (the House of War) via immigration is an Islamic mission as documented in the Memorandum (jihad by immigration) to subvert Western democracies.
- Haney mentions that the call of the Muslim Brotherhood is to bloody jihad in obedience to Quran 8:60 (note that Muslim Brotherhood groups go to great lengths to publicly distance themselves from violent jihad)….
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged (8:60)
