“Bomb attack prepared ?: Terror suspects arrested in Berlin,” En24, November 19, 2019 (thanks to David — the wretched translation is as in the original):
A special unit of the Federal Police searches an apartment in the German capital and sums up a man there who is said to have prepared a terrorist attack. The investigators accuse him of having procured material for the bomb construction.
The police have arrested a man suspected of terrorism in Berlin. The 37-year-old Syrian is said to have informed and exchanged on the Internet about the construction of bombs. “The purpose of the chat traffic should have been the preparation of terrorist attacks,” said the Attorney General [of] Berlin….
The federal prosecutor accuses the man, since January of this year, components and chemicals for the construction of an explosive device concerned. The bomb should therefore be detonated at an unknown time in an unknown location in order to kill and injure as many people as possible.
In August and September 2019, the man allegedly bought acetone and hydrogen peroxide solution. Both chemicals are needed for the production of the highly explosive triacetontriperoxide. The man was arrested on the basis of a warrant issued by the Tiergarten district court.
