“The Conservatives will face an independent inquiry into Islamophobia, party chairman James Cleverly has confirmed. The investigation comes after a YouGov survey for Channel 4’s Dispatches programme found that 56 per cent of the Tory membership thought Islam was ‘generally a threat’ to the British way of life and just 22 per cent thought it was ‘generally compatible’.”
Islam is a huge threat to the Western way of life, there is no denying it, and the continued bullying over speech that is considered offensive to Islam is part of the proof. The murder of apostates, the murder of gays, the murder of religious minorities (including Muslims who are considered to be heretics), the persecution of Christians now at genocidal levels, efforts to obliterate the Jewish state of Israel, the inferiority of women under the Sharia, blasphemy laws, etc., are some other obvious indicators.
Monitoring citizens and political parties in the West for “Islamophobia” is akin to monitoring for blasphemy under the Islamic Sharia.
Unsurprisingly, “former party chairman Baroness Sayeeda Warsi told Metro.co.uk: ‘I welcome the acceptance of my party for finally recognising the need for an independent inquiry into Islamophobia.”
Baroness Warsi thinks it’s up to the “paranoid” government to make Muslims feel welcome, and has accused the Conservative Party of using “dangerous” hatred of Muslims to win elections.
Warsi was also the first Muslim woman to sit in Cabinet; she gave official posts to Islamic supremacists.
The West is under siege from Islamic supremacists and Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups. Muslim Brotherhood groups and their affiliates should be declared terrorist organizations. But Western leaders are afraid of them. They are terrified of being called “Islamophobes,” and have prioritized that fear over their duties to govern.
Take, for example, how the Muslim Brotherhood was embraced by the Obama Administration; here is a glimpse of the inner workings of the MB:
The Obama administration used the language of “moderate Islamists” to describe the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, and he called Iran’s President Rouhani, a “moderate” reformist, despite the rise of human rights violations in Iran on Rouhani’s watch. Muslim Brotherhood, too, on the surface rejected violent jihad, preferring to fund various proxies who either directed these attacks or educated individuals who then went on to carry out acts of terrorism. Reformists in Iran played the same game, and likely learned from one another.
The U.S. Holy Land Foundation trial exposed the fact that in North America, the Muslim Brotherhood is thriving as it aims at “destroying Western civilization from within,” as stated in a captured internal Brotherhood document; yet disbelief continues to prevail. The MB also funnels monies to violent jihadist groups such as Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, etc., in the same manner as foreign MB groups who “on the surface rejected violent jihad, preferring to fund various proxies who either directed these attacks or educated individuals who then went on to carry out acts of terrorism.” For this reason, a vast network of MB groups in North America were declared by the US Justice Department to be unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation’s Hamas terror funding case; and they make it a mission to “blacklist” conservative non-profit groups, as well as anyone who shows up their activities.
The latest effort in the UK to force an “Islamophobia” inquiry upon the Conservative Party was preceded by determined efforts by Islamic supremacist groups, much like those who operate in America and Canada. For instance, UK MP’s have been calling for “Islamophobia” to be classed as “racism,” and want to criminalize claims that Islam is spread by the sword, despite the fact that it is actually spread by the sword, and has been for 1,400 years. When Lord Pearson of Rannoch asked last year if mosques would be monitored for “hate speech,” (which they should) he was threatened with “hate speech” prosecution for merely asking.
The UK government rejected a working definition of “Islamophobia” less than three months ago, although it was accepted by the Labour Party and Liberal Democrats. The definition was as follows:
“Islamophobia is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness.”
The National Police Chiefs’ Council also expressed concern about the definition, saying in a statement that it was “too broad as currently drafted, could cause confusion for officers enforcing it and could be used to challenge legitimate free speech on the historical or theological actions of Islamic states.” But Baroness Warsi called it ““irresponsible scaremongering,” despite the Police Chief’s sensible concerns.
“Islamophobia” initiatives are propelled by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. They have no place in Western countries. Anti-Muslim bigotry has been a term offered to replace “Islamophobia,” but it has been rejected by Islamic supremacists, because the term “Islamophobia” also incorporates criticism of Islam, and is purposely intended to shut up critics of Islam and stigmatize speech that is deemed offensive to Islam, thus eroding democratic freedoms.
“Co-chair of the APPG on British Muslims, Wes Streeting MP said: ‘Given the catalogue of evidence of Islamophobia in the Conservative Party, an independent inquiry into Islamophobia is both welcome and overdue. ‘For this process to have any credibility with Muslim communities it must be genuinely independent and willing to shine a light into uncomfortable corners of the Conservative Party.”
How naive. Only subversion will have “any credibility” with Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups, which have become the spokespersons of Muslim communities.
“Conservative Party to face inquiry into Islamophobia,” by Basit Mahmood, Metro UK, August 4, 2019:
The Conservatives will face an independent inquiry into Islamophobia, party chairman James Cleverly has confirmed.
The investigation comes after a YouGov survey for Channel 4’s Dispatches programme found that 56 per cent of the Tory membership thought Islam was ‘generally a threat’ to the British way of life and just 22 per cent thought it was ‘generally compatible’.
A previous YouGov study carried out by anti-racism charity Hope Not Hate also found that just 8 per cent of the party’s members ‘would be proud of Britain, if we were to elect a Muslim as our prime minister’.
The survey also revealed that 67 per cent of Tory members believe ‘there are areas in Britain that operate under Sharia law’.
An inquiry into anti-Muslim racism and hatred was suggested by Sajid Javid, now the Chancellor, during the Tory leadership race.
Asked on Sky’s Sophy Ridge On Sunday whether there will be an independent inquiry, Mr Cleverly said: ‘Yes there will be. ‘We will be guided by a formal definition of Islamophobia but the point is we do and will always take firm action on anyone who steps outside the boundaries of appropriate behaviour.’
Former party chairman Baroness Sayeeda Warsi told Metro.co.uk: ‘I welcome the acceptance of my party for finally recognising the need for an independent inquiry into Islamophobia.
‘I would suggest the APPG on British Muslims definitions of Islamophobia is an appropriate definition to guide this process. ‘Nevertheless, I hope this process is independent, transparent and retains the confidence of British Muslim communities across the UK.’
Co-chair of the APPG on British Muslims, Wes Streeting MP said: ‘Given the catalogue of evidence of Islamophobia in the Conservative Party, an independent inquiry into Islamophobia is both welcome and overdue.
‘For this process to have any credibility with Muslim communities it must be genuinely independent and willing to shine a light into uncomfortable corners of the Conservative Party….
