On the fiftieth anniversary of Stonewall riots, an Israeli historian, Yuval Harari, gave an interview to the Guardian in which he warned that the 21th century could be the Gay Holocaust. Harari is known as the author of popular bestsellers and is a guru for progressives. In his opinion, the main threat to the LGBT community comes from countries where they, having obtained the desired freedom, have turned into scapegoats: in Eastern Europe, most of all, Poland, Hungary, and also Russia.
Such an assertion is not something new, although it is interesting that it is being repeated by one of the most talented and outstanding representatives of the Western elite. It is the evidence of how deeply prostrated and divorced from reality those people are. Even such obvious and shocking things as the Orlando massacre were not able to make them look at the world realistically.
So — nationalists, racists, homophobes. Poland, Hungary, Russia…
A Google search for “Attacks on homosexuals in Poland / Hungary / Russia” leads us to a lot of articles about the supposed hatred to gays incited by authorities of those countries. As Harari did, they remind us about the Russian gay propaganda law and have frightening headlines, such as these, for example:

In Poland, we do not find statistics on attacks on homosexuals in recent years. In Hungary, the last serious incident was violence against participants of the “Gay Pride” march in 2008. In Russia, Aleksandr Kondakov, a sociologist at the European University in St. Petersburg, exposed the following data (with the exception of Muslim Chechnya): “If before 2013, there were on average 32 cases based on hated to LGBTs, in 2015, there were already 65,” Kondakov says. Is it a lot for a country with a population of more than 140 million? Kondakov, however, recognizes that the attitude towards gays in bigger cities (where their majority lives) is much more tolerant.

That is bullshit. I live in Poland and I didn’t see any real stigmatisation of homosexual people. They live, nobody is hurting them or be unkind to them in real live. Of course there are some which do not like them, but .. it the most which could happen is just insult. As You can be insulted by others in many situations in Your live for anything.
No there is no any general danger to them. Most the people are too kind, to even frown upon the others. Mayby there is no love to them, but generally there is no hate or state persecution. They are just normal citizens, but as for know, they have no right to adopt children or take official marriage. That second would be very strange in our culture, for many.

Most people give a s…, what other are doing as long as they are not braching other’s privacy or common sense/tradition. Simply if You ex. will wear ex. woman clothes and go public, then as You for sure will hear some insults and people are be looking at You. From my perspective, I can’t tell that i like them, becouse those which I meet in my life, don’t wanted to hear I am not like them and still harrased me. It was not fun, but at least I know how womens are feeling when they molested by much stronger mens. So I didn’t saw any good will from them and becouse that I have no sympathy. I heared a lot such stories from my friends. But I understand what is driving those people. Thay are just different and everybody has a right to live in peace. Fourty years ago In Montreal, province of Quebec, I was near a group of gay men and when one of them was making scandalous jokes, it was only among themselves as gay adults in a private home and they all knew it was always heavily marked sexually and certainly not for a large public, not even all gays. These gay men disaproved of one they knew who was a pedophile, an intellectual teaching cybernetics, but they themselves had a male prostitute as a home cleaner, a way to pay him a salary in a better way. But the whole picture was not positive because there was alcohol, drugs, promiscuity, and criminality not far. It was certainly a dangerous place to hang around for children, young people and whoever because under the influence of alcohol there would be a time of the day where one could impose sex on a vulnerable one.

The godmother of my son, she lived with the pedophile, got assassinated a couple of months later by boys prostitutes grown older who broke into her appartement to seek money and revenge in general. All this sex for all and drugs is not a good environment. The home where I met these gay men was the home of the godfather of my son, the best friend of Stephan. He was a welcoming man, holding a steady job, but with a foot in this disfonctional life to the extent I decided to not let my son ever see him again at the advice of a Jehovah witness colleague at work from Haiti who told me a story to make me figure the danger: “a young boy playing with scissors and not obeying his mother telling him to stop. He then hurt one of his eyes and growing up looked ugly with his damaged eye. He then told his mother “Why didn’t you stop me from playing with the scissors, I was only a kid, I could not figure the danger by myself”.
Some say gays in the 1970’s used to hang around bars because they were not welcome in the public space. But prostitution, pedophilia, drug and alcohol are a mix where lost people find themselves. It should not be promoted as mainstream by the LGBT because they make victims. The male prostitute was an American indian with a girlfriend in his home town who did not know of his activities. I wondered if she had gotten HIV positive. I was a lost kid myself and the best thing I did was cut all ties with them and save my life. My son found himself at the age of four orphan and without access to his godfather. He lost these male figures and hated me all his life for this. Two lost kids, make a lost child. Now my son is grown up in his late thirties, he found stability and founded a family and they had a son last year. But I stay away and scarcely communicate with him in order to protect his stabilitly because he gets upset whatever I say, be it only “Hello”. I’m forever the bad one. The father of Stephan was an alcoholic and he denigrated Alcoholics Anonymous. I found Al-Anon later and attended meetings for ten years every day I could and visited AA. With Al-Anon and AA and other 12 steps groups I found what is real life quality. Now in France in a small town there are no 12 step meetings. Some 12 steps meetings are dangerous such as the ones attended by criminals not outnumbered by straight people. Criminals seek company and they are deformed by crazy upbringings that makes them using violence as normal. Promoting sex, drugs and “rock and roll” as does LGBT is very ignorant and puts people in situations of danger with consequences. The public space is not a place to display all the attire of a male or female Geisha in action.

Thanks for the adapted steps and the link to a website Crusader. It is said that one should not talk about the 12 steps movement outside of the meeting rooms. I think it is important to none the less talk a little bit about it so people know of their existence before laying on their death bed. It is fine to attend meetings before you are a mess.
In opposition to Muslim countries, in the Western world 12 steps meetings can take place freely. People can attend freely 12 steps meetings and the meetings are freely run without government or professionnal supervision by the members themselves following only the general structure rules. The attendance is free, doesn’t cost money, only a money donation by those who can in the amount they can. For their path to recovery, the members rely on free speech and a loving higher power freely defined by each individual by his personal understanding. I think that only the Christian heritage could generate this freedom loving, constructive, peaceful movement promoting sobriety in the mind. Freedom of choice and reason with spirituality.
In her book “Wholly Different”, ex-Muslim convert to Christianity Nonie Darwish shows that the values we, in the West, take for granted, are completely alien to Muslims. I am forever grateful to this Christian heritage I find in the 12 steps recovery programs and of its North American touch of sometimes sitting with the chairs in a circle, having each one a turn to speak. The love,respect and interaction with humans and the universe. Love can be from a very far distance when directed to dysfonctional beings. This can only happen in a free world. I often thought of migrants landing in Western countries needing to form their own 12 steps recovery program to recover from violent brainwashings from their homeland and families. Only the Western world gave birth to this recovery program in which people can discern all the reason and spiritual heritage of the Western world.
It is a perpetual personal innovation to recovery led by freedom and a loving higher power freely defined. Freedom of speech, freedom of association, freedom of defining one’s higher power.
Progressives with foam at the corner of the lips will find fault to profound constructiveness. Progressives are superficial and fake thinkers and 12 steps recovery programs are meant to get out of fake lives. There can be local power struggles in meetings but there is always somewhere a truth speaker.

In 12 steps recovery programs the basis of all the traditions is anonymity. In the meeting rooms you can find a sign saying: “What you see here, what you hear here, when you leave from here, let it here”. And recovery is an ever changing world adapted to the ever changing reality.
Anonymity is impossible in the Muslim oumma because Islam is a police state spying constantly on any people to “get” them and bring them to punishment. Spying leading to punishment is an entire time and energy consuming occupation in Islam. Most of everything else is forbidden. Muslims have to spend their lives lying and bullying to get through. And non-Muslims must beware of Muslims 24 hours/7 days. A very dysfonctionnal setting. Moderate Muslims are pretty good lyers about the innocuity of Islam.

So, let me see if I got this straight. Attacks on Gays in eastern Europe have gone up 3 percent over the last decade. Hate crime attacks against gays in western Europe has gone up 80 percent in the last 4 or 5 years, yet, because eastern Europe doesn’t cow tow to the gay agenda, so this guy is predicting a holocaust in eastern Europe? Are we that determined in the west to relive the cold war. There will be another gay holocaust, but not in eastern Europe, and the funniest part is that the Gay community will be blindsided and will bemoan as to why, and anyone who tells them why will be berated and dressed down as a racist, and the killing would continue.
