Anjem Choudary, the jihad-spreading “guru” who has been tied to “the world’s worst atrocities,” is back on Britain’s streets to continue spreading the deadly jihad doctrine, fully supported by UK taxpayers.
His release comes with certain conditions, among them: “he will be banned from leaving London and using the internet without permission. He will be restricted to a single phone that can be inspected at any time.” Unless authorities intend to monitor Choudary 24/7, he will continue to spread hate and incitement to jihad over the internet, and he will find a way to access another phone — not difficult for any seasoned criminal to do, especially given Choudary’s loyal following. Choudary co-founded the British jihadist network al-Muhajiroun, and as a further testament to who he is, his “former bodyguard Mohammed Reza Haque appeared as an IS executioner in beheading videos.”
Strolling along on what Choudary noted was “a lovely day” and “smiling broadly for the camera,” Choudary “popped into a local shop to buy snacks and top up an electricity pre-payment card.” This pompous supremacist has been given every reason to smile in “victory” as UK dhimmis are forced to pay his way, thanks to the credulous authorities who are responsible for his new freedom to continue waging his jihad against Brits. Who knows where, when and under what circumstances the next innocent victim associated with Choudary’s reign of jihad terror will show up.
Yet many might think it deeply offensive that this disgraced Islamist, who co-founded the British jihadist network al-Muhajiroun and has been an avowed supporter of terrorism here and abroad, is once again walking the streets of the capital as the inquest into the London Bridge terror attack is taking place.
Over the past few weeks, the inquest has heard that Khuram Butt, the ringleader of that atrocity in 2017, was ‘like a lion out of a cage’ after meeting Choudary.
The release of Anjem Choudary is beyond offensive. The risks posed to UK citizens now that Anjem Choudary is back on the streets is clear. He is a highly dangerous offender given his pattern of behavior and his likelihood to re-offend. For the protection of the public, he should have remained isolated behind bars.
“Insensitivity to the families of the bereaved is not the only issue. A few of Choudary’s quotes indicate that he (as should be expected) has no respect whatsoever for British law, only the Shariah:

Let’s hope that he is soon back in jail — unfortunately, that may come at the price of more victims — and also kept away from other prisoners whom he will seek to radicalize.

And that has always been Choudary’s style; to remain above the fray, enjoying a comfortable life in the tolerant democracy he claims to despise while goading others to do his will.
The killers of Fusilier Lee Rigby, Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale, were among Choudary’s devotees, while scores of his British followers travelled to Syria and Iraq to fight for IS’s blood-soaked — and now routed — ‘caliphate’.
