Canada’s Foreign Minister tells UN “white supremacism and Islamophobia among the ‘gravest threats’ facing the world”

Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland has told the United Nations that “White supremacism and Islamophobia are among “the gravest threats” facing the world.”

Canada is headed in a troubling direction. The Canadian government also asserted this week that Canada rejects Israel’s need to defend itself from jihad attack, and does not recognize Israel’s control over Golan Heights. Canada evidently does not understand nor recognize the seriousness of the global jihad, which abuses and murders infidels and apostates, abuses women as inferiors, aims to subvert democracies, and endeavors to obliterate Israel, not to mention its treatment of gays.

Canada’s Conservative opposition leader Andrew Scheer was also recently lambasted for not decrying “Islamophobia” following the New Zealand massacre.

More and more, Canada is executing anti-Islamophobia M-103 to “take action” against “Islamophobia,” which goes so far to begin “monitoring citizens for compliance.”

It should therefore come as no surprise that Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland has declared to the United Nations — which has stated its intention to work more closely with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation — that “Neo-Nazism and Islamophobia” are “among the ‘gravest threats’ facing the world.” Not the global jihad.

White supremacism and Islamophobia are among “the gravest threats” facing the world, Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland told the United Nations Thursday.

A white supremacist’s March 15 terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, which claimed the lives of 50 worshippers, was a painful reminder to Canadians of the deaths of six people in another terrorist attack on a Quebec City mosque two years ago, Freeland said before a UN Security Council debate on terrorism.

“Neo-Nazis, white supremacists, ‘incels,’ nativists and radical anti-globalists who resort to violent acts are a threat to the stability of my country and countries around the world,” Freeland said.

No time for euphemisms
These attacks need to be at the top of the global agenda during discussions on confronting global terrorism, Freeland added.

And when such attacks do occur, the international community must not be afraid to condemn them specifically as racist acts of terrorism, Freeland said.

“We cannot hide behind euphemisms that distract from the truth,” she said. “In fact, doing so puts our citizens, especially those from religious minorities and racialized communities, in greater danger.”

In the wake of acts of terrorism carried out by Muslims, Western countries often call upon Muslim countries and Muslim leaders to condemn those attacks in the name of their people and their faith, she said.

“It should follow that, as the foreign minister of a majority-white and majority-Christian country, I feel a specific and personal responsibility to denounce white supremacist attacks in the same way,” Freeland said…..

          A Canadian man who with his wife was held hostage by the Taliban for five years has been accused of repeatedly assaulting her before, during and after their captivity, including tying her ankles and wrists with rope and forcing her to have sex.

          Joshua Boyle, 35, is facing 19 charges, including sexual assault, after his estranged wife Caitlan Coleman, 33, alleged that she suffered at his hands. Court records show that one charge is related to another person, whose identity has not been divulged due to a court order.

          Both Boyle and Coleman were captured by a Taliban-linked group in 2012 while on a backpacking trip in Afghanistan. During their five years in captivity, she gave birth to three children. The family was freed in 2017 by Pakistani forces.

          Caitlan Coleman, seen with husband Joshua Boyle and their children, broke her silence after being rescued from captivity.

          Coleman testified on Friday that during their captivity Boyle was controlling. His behavior “was just like my captors,” she told the court, according to the Guardian.

          “I was never to disagree with him, even on small things,” she said. “In the past, he made it clear he didn’t feel any guilt hurting me.”

          She described behavior by Boyle that she said led to a violent assault after they returned to Canada, in which he demanded sex, then hit her after she refused.

          “Josh told me to get on the bed. He took ropes he kept in a bag … and he started to tie my hands and legs,” she said, adding that he sexually assaulted her and refused to release her. “He said he couldn’t trust me, so he wasn’t going to untie me.”

          Boyle was arrested in December 2017 and pleaded not guilty to all charges. He was released from jail last June with strict bail conditions that include living with his parents in Smiths Falls, Ontario, and wearing a GPS ankle bracelet that tracks his movements.

          Coleman previously testified that she met Boyle when she was 16 and that he was her first kiss, but he soon became physically abusive and controlling.

          She said that during their captivity, Boyle would spank, bite, and choke her as forms of punishment, and sometimes forced her to stay in a bathroom stall for hours because he couldn’t stand her, the newspaper reported.

          Coleman said Boyle continued the abuse and controlling behavior after they returned to Canada.

          She told the court earlier this week that Boyle forced her to take powerful sleeping medication. “He stood in the bathroom and watched me take them that time … I took them because I knew that if I didn’t he would hit me harder.”

          Thank you for sharing the information. I had not heard or seen anything about it. However, when that couple was “rescued,” I could see in the guy’s eyes that he didn’t view it as all that bad in “captivity.” And it was obvious to anyone familiar with an abused “wife”…she was one. It showed in her face, her body language, and when she spoke, which seemed to bring out his anger. Perhaps he was afraid she would say something right there on the news program about his abuse.

          I just thought that he was a moslim and had beaten her up. often.

          I don’t doubt her ordeal of captivity and abuse and yet she has an air of “I’m keeping a secret.”

          I watched some of the interview. It’s difficult to hear even with my speakers turned all the way up. But, I agree. There are clues in her speech and eyes that say she is not being entirely truthful.

          It may be that, as you say, she’s keeping a “secret” and that causes her to smile, but she looks around to much instead of making eye contact. She also referenced “comforting” herself, but there didn’t seem to be anything specific that she did to “comfort” herself.

          On the loss of her baby, she seemed to indicate that it wasn’t so much the loss of her baby, but that she didn’t get to make the decision, that bothered her the most I suppose it was when she got back with her husband that she was able to have the other children and the captors no longer objected.

          Domestic violence is touchy enough…toss captivity into the mix and you’ve got someone off the charts.

          Most domestic violence victims simply want to escape their abuser. Coleman resides in Pennsylvania and Boyle is in Canada.

          Problem solved.

          But she is currently pregnant with her fourth child allegedly sired by Boyle…

          This is where I’m questioning…Coleman doesn’t strike me as a victim (although I DO believe she was subjected to abuse). She’s bright. Articulate. Speaks of an expectation that the Taliban treats women and children with respect…bizarre. She didn’t initiate the estrangement with Boyle…she claims Boyle grew tired of her, as he did his first wife.

          Something isn’t right…

          Yep, she is not the “usual” abused wife. From what you observed from watching and listening, I’d say she is likely someone who craves attention and this is one of the ways she found effective in getting it.
          Many women who are abused will go back to their husbands if they manage to get free. Usually, they “escape’ but then are threatened or they feel they need the guy to ‘survive”…ie; money, house, etc. But, to be left by the guy and then go back, afterward, to claim abuse, is not the usual way of things.
          And the name of her dead baby…Martyr…I thought that was what she said, but didn’t know if that was the one killed before birth or a child she already had who was killed. It does seem strange that she would name her such as that. She is, at the very least, confused. And moslim…no excuse for that.

          It is all very strange. I have sympathy for her children, but find her weird.

          Your comment also makes me think of the verses in Revelation having to do with “water flowing from the altar and filling the earth.” This “water of Truth” will eventually flood and wash away all of the lies.

I mean, yeah, racism is a bad and stupid thing, but for white people to constantly be saying that white supremacism and Islamophobia are among the gravest threats in the world is just insane. What is behind all these constantly self-flagellating white people? Seems to be a complex combination of misplaced guilt, subconscious racism, and virtue signaling (hey, everyone, see what a virtuous white person I am! I denounce white racism at all times! I’m not like most of the white people, those evil master oppressors throughout history. Please approve of me and absolve me of my guilt!) I suspect that the white people who obsess about racism that is not even present do it because inwardly they have some racist feelings and they feel guilty about that, and so they are always trying to overcompensate by seeking almost hysterically to uproot white racism from every nook and cranny of existence, even down to the subatomic level, even where racism doesn’t exist at all!     Like all criminals, communist gangsters really only ever desire rights without responsibilities – what they call equality of outcome, where those who don’t work get paid by the enslaved labor of those who do – over an equality of opportunity, by which those who choose to work and prosper can, and those who don’t, don’t. When criminals steal, their choices have enslaved their victims by forcing them to have retroactively ended up working for them for free.

    *After all, all “Democracy” really means is “We get to vote for stuff!” Well, so what?! Big deal! Democracy has been best defined as “power-trading.”

    ALL power-trading politicians are professional hypocrites and traitors.

    Democracy – even direct democracy – is slavery, because it presumes you must give up your right to control your own stuff to groups of other people.

    “Hah!” fools say, “I have a right to vote for the fate of my stuff! I love Democracy! It’s great for me!”

    Well, “So do we too have a right to vote for the fate of your stuff!” says the Majority of other people!

    Why should anyone else have any rights to control any of your property? Why should you be responsible to them?!

    Why should criminals be allowed to vote to “progressively” legalize crimes at all, ever?!

    To vote against logic and reason?!

    We only need The Golden Rule of Law – having the responsibility to not attack, and the right to not to be attacked, first.

    No further legislation is needed, beyond delineating the boundaries of one’s contractually negotiated property.

  31. Freeland is out of touch with reality.
    What about the hundreds of Christians in Nigeria that are being slaughtered at the hands of Muslims, not white supremacists.
    Where are the government leaders on that issue? No flying flags at half mast for those victims. I ask, Why not??
    It seems they are not as worthy. How could you draw a different conclusion.
    Hopefully this gang in Ottawa will be put out to pasture in the next election as there seems to be a global agenda unfolding before our very eyes.
