A SPANISH missionary has died in a terrorist attack in Burkina Faso.
According to Spanish press, Antonio Cesar Fernandez was travelling with two colleagues from Togo back to their community in the capital Ouagadougou when a group of jihadists stopped their car. After searching the vehicle they made the 72-year get out and took him to a forested area. A few minutes later there was the sound of shots.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez tweeted his condolences to the missionary’s family, expressing his “absolute condemnation” of the attack….
