“Charity worker gunned down in Loralai,” by Mohammad Zafar, Express Tribune, January 13, 2019:
A charity worker was killed and four others were injured on Saturday when men riding a motorcycle opened fire at them and fled. The incident occurred in Muhajir Adda area of Loralai district.
The deceased was identified as Edhi Centre incharge Baz Muhammad Adil and injured as Allauddin, Khayal Muhammad, Ali Khan and Atta Muhammad who were campaigning against ongoing terrorist attacks in the district when their vehicle came under an armed attack, according to police….
The police said, “The workers were targeted only a few minutes after they left Police Line Street for Bacha Khan Chowk. Unidentified men opened fire at them and fled. Baz Muhammad died on the spot, while four others were injured.”…
“Baz Muhammad Adil was a social activist who was mobilising citizens for the cause of peace,” the DPO added….
No group immediately claimed responsibility of the incident but previous attacks in Loralai were claimed by the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan….
