The Left’s endgame: authoritarian regimes that criminalize dissent. We’re well on the way.
“Hamburger Morgenpost demands that AfD supporters lose their right to vote,” translated from “Hamburger Morgenpost fordert AfD-Anhängern das Wahlrecht zu entziehen,” by David Berger, Philosophia Perennis, January 12, 2019 (thanks to Searchlight Germany):
Suddenly there they are again: the subhumans who have nothing to say. To whom the gentlemen of the “Morgenpost” would deny their normal basic rights, but especially their suffrage. And then celebrate themselves as defenders of democracy. Is there anything more contradictory, more perverse, even fascist? Hard to imagine.
In the torrent of hate of the mainstream media and state radio against the AfD and the “right wing,” it becomes more and more difficult for committed and career-mad journalists to prove themselves more loyal to the regime and more motivated in competition with their colleagues.
Driven by this problem is obviously one Ralf Dorschel, who published an article in the Hamburger Morgenpost that would have made “Der Stürmer” or “Neues Deutschland” in the time of the GDR.
In the beginning it says: “This is largely a consensus among Germany’s Democrats: But not with the AfD! Their representatives are seen nationwide as frivolous, dangerous — or both. There are tons of extremists, racists and Holocaust deniers — characters with whom you want to have little to do. But AfD voters! We must all think along with their worries, politicians of all parties explain to us. Their fears we have to enshrine in law! But do we really have to? Or would not it be high time to leave AfD fans on the right side and finally make politics for the majority again?”
“In a fair world, AfD fans would have the right to vote withdrawn”
A collection of blanket prejudices, set out before his colleagues without any evidence in the world, can be found here in a few sentences. And so it goes on from paragraph to demagogic paragraph.
Until the article finally reaches its climax:
“In a fair world, AfD fans would have to the right to vote withdrawn. Just as you take away children’s toys when they have tantrums: Little ones, you can build your knight’s castle in many forms and colors, with walls, ditches and gates or open with drawbridge lowered. But if you always want to destroy everything, then you’re out. ”
Suddenly there are sub-humans, who have nothing to say. They, like children, have to follow the orders of adults in the “children’s detention center”. The master men of the “Morgenpost” can deny them their normal right to life (pictorially here: play with blocks) and disagree with their suffrage, or make it dependent on corresponding behavior loyal to the regime. And celebrate themselves as defenders of democracy.
Can anything be more contradictory, more perverse, even fascist? Hard to imagine.
