They regard their foes as enemies of Allah, so killing them on joyful occasions is all the better, as it serves to “strike terror in the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60).

LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): One individual has been killed, three were wounded and six others captured by Taliban in an attack on a wedding ceremony in the Nad Ali district of southern Helmand province, an official said on Saturday.
Mohammad Gul Hashimi, the district’s administrative chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the militants attacked the wedding ceremony in 31-Gharbi area late on Friday night.
One individual was killed, three were wounded and six others snatched by the rebels, he said, adding that the wedding ceremony was for a policeman’s relative….
But Qari Yousaf Ahmadi, Taliban’s spokesman, denied the group had attacked the wedding party.
