Pope Francis is the ultimate defender of Islam. He has been praised by Islamic leaders for his defenses of Islam. He visited Morocco to “strengthen Christian-Muslim ties” last month; he has compared “populists” to Hitler, while calling for open doors to all migrants. He forgets about the suffering fellow Christian flock, however, that faces the worst abuses in many Muslim countries.
Pope Francis will visit the United Arab Emirates in early February, continuing the outreach to the Muslim world that has been a signature theme of his pontificate.
Who will advocate for persecuted Christians? Not this Pope.

ROME—Pope Francis will visit the United Arab Emirates in early February, continuing the outreach to the Muslim world that has been a signature theme of his pontificate.
The pope will visit Abu Dhabi in the U.A.E. from Feb. 3 to Feb. 5 to take part in an interfaith gathering, the Vatican announced Thursday.
“This visit, like the one to Egypt, shows the fundamental importance the Holy Father gives to interreligious dialogue,” said the Vatican spokesman, Greg Burke.
The pope will then visit another Muslim-majority country, Morocco, on March 30 and March 31.
Pope Francis has made a priority of improving relations with the Islamic world. He has washed the feet of Muslims during Holy Week liturgies and when he brought a dozen Syrians back with him from a Greek refugee center in 2016, all were Muslims….
