This may be just as it is being reported: a man with a “mental disorder” goes on a stabbing spree.
It may, however, be a jihad attack. The reasons for this possibility are these:
1. Authorities for years have ascribed to “mental illness” what are obviously jihad attacks, with the assailant screaming “Allahu akbar,” etc.
2. One of the victims was stabbed in the neck. Islam doesn’t own stabbings in the neck, but jihadis do favor them, as the Qur’an says: “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks…” (Qur’an 47:4)
3. The Islamic State (ISIS) has called for stabbing attacks by Muslims in the West on random civilians, and on French people in particular. The Islamic State issued this call in September 2014:
So O muwahhid, do not let this battle pass you by wherever you may be. You must strike the soldiers, patrons, and troops of the tawaghit. Strike their police, security, and intelligence members, as well as their treacherous agents. Destroy their beds. Embitter their lives for them and busy them with themselves. If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be….If you are not able to find an IED or a bullet, then single out the disbelieving American, Frenchman, or any of their allies. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him….
This may not be a jihad attack. But given the reticence of authorities to release material that reflects poorly on the mass Muslim migration enterprise, we may never know.

Three women have been injured in a brutal stabbing attack at a train station in eastern France.
RTL reported that the assailant stabbed three women in the French city of Mulhouse on Sunday at around 3pm – with one of the victims being knifed in the throat.
According to RTL the women did not known the man who approached them out of the blue on Sunday afternoon.
Local website France Bleu said the attacker started his rampage by stabbing a woman in the back as she was walking through the station with her 10-year-old daughter.
He then reportedly attacked a second woman, who was hit in the hand.
The man, said to be a ‘young male’, then fled the scene of the attack before being chased down by police and arrested.
He was also said to have been known to police and was suffering from a ‘mental disorder’….
