Sara Anne Widholm, the 76-year-old Windsor woman who was the victim of a vicious, unprovoked attack on the Ganatchio Trail in October 2017, has passed away in hospital.
The mystery surrounding Habibullah Ahmadi, the perpetrator of this barbaric murder, is astounding. Given the brutality and random nature of his attack, it is noteworthy that so little has been reported about him. Information about his background and even police photos of Ahmadi are virtually unattainable. It is as though authorities were being protective of him, more so than they have been of the victim, a 76-year-old innocent woman who is described by those who knew her in the most endearing terms:
“She was a faithful and beloved member of our church, Riverside Baptist, and we will miss her dearly, but now she is whole and at peace in heaven with her Lord Jesus,” said Pastor Brandon Taylor, leader of the church where Widholm and her husband were members.
Widholm was walking along the trail and “cleaning it of litter, as was her regular habit, when she became the victim of an attack that Windsor police have described as vicious and unprovoked.” It was never revealed whether she even regained consciousness, only that her “treating surgeon — Dr. Balraj Jhawar — publicly described the damage as the worst he had seen by an assault in his 12 years working in Windsor.”
He further stated that “For all of us who live here in Windsor, we can’t tolerate this. This is not just another assault.” Yet this assault has been tolerated by those who have concealed so much information about it. Why have they done so? Could it be because they decided for Canadians that if they heard more about it, they may become “Islamophobic”? “Racist”? “Anti-immigrant”? Reporting in general has become a selective process; what the public is told is determined by the dictates of those who presume themselves to be superior to the general public. They decide how to filter information in keeping with how they think citizens should think.
Attacker Habibullah Ahmadi was 21, a full adult, but police never released his booking photo. News reports described him as a “Windsor man,” who goes by the name “Daniel.”
Real journalism is hard to find these days. In the “old days,” an informed public was educated and given a chance to discuss, express and exchange views. Now the public gets information that is carefully selected to achieve a desired response, particularly where Muslims are involved. Take, for example, the globalist agenda of open-door immigration. Canada and other Western countries have been actively engaged in welcoming and assimilating immigrants for decades, but the situation is quite different now: in this age of unvetted immigration, one must endorse suicidal immigration policies or be branded “bigoted.”
Those who ascribe to supremacist values and barbaric practices have been slipping into Western countries. Yes, “barbaric practices.” Sara Anne Widholm was a victim of unimaginable barbarity. No reasonable person should be offended by that term. Most victims of barbaric practices will recognize such practices as female genital mutilation and honor killing as indeed barbaric. The term is only insulting to those who either tolerate barbaric practices in the name of their warped understanding of “diversity,” or who accept such practices in the name of their culture or religion. Immigrants from countries where such practices are the norm should be happy to abandon barbaric practices that harm people (usually women) and help protect their host countries from them. Those who impose their politically correct agendas upon free societies have prioritized hurt feelings over human rights. They have placed their “anti-racism” initiatives ahead of the real victims. They have accepted the most intolerant elements of society in the name of tolerance.
It is no wonder that Europe is imploding, and victims of jihad attacks, assaults and other violence are virtually ignored. Citizens have been betrayed by their leaders, and by many in the media who have become agents of thought control. Citizens are not being given an honest opportunity to make informed choices about their own safety and the future of their countries.

The elderly Windsor woman who suffered severe injuries in a shocking beating on Ganatchio Trail last year has died in hospital.
Sources have confirmed that Sara Anne Widholm, 76, died at Windsor Regional Hospital on Saturday, Dec. 15.
“She was a faithful and beloved member of our church, Riverside Baptist, and we will miss her dearly, but now she is whole and at peace in heaven with her Lord Jesus,” said Pastor Brandon Taylor, leader of the church where Widholm and her husband were members.
Taylor said Widholm passed away quietly. He has been in contact with her adult children.
In a statement to the public, the pastor wrote: “On behalf of Anne’s family and our church family, thank you for your concern and prayers.”
It has not been disclosed if Widholm ever regained consciousness after the assault incident that horrified the community last fall.
On the morning of Oct. 8, 2017, Widholm was walking on the Ganatchio Trail and cleaning it of litter, as was her regular habit, when she became the victim of an attack that Windsor police have described as “vicious” and “unprovoked.”
Passersby discovered Widholm battered and unconscious on a part of the trail just east of Riverdale Avenue.
Widholm’s injuries were so severe that the treating surgeon — Dr. Balraj Jhawar — publicly described the damage as the worst he had seen by an assault in his 12 years working in Windsor.
Jhawar took the unusual step of speaking out about the incident because he felt what happened to Widholm was “absolutely unacceptable.”
