One of the most popular Islamic manuals of Sharia law, “The Reliance of the Traveler” defines “jihad” as “war against non-Muslims”. This book is the coherent history of that Islamic holy war against non-Moslems.
Robert Spencer has done a masterful job of portraying just what the title of the book promises, namely, a history of jihad from Muhammad to ISIS. For the goriest of details of what the Muslims did to other peoples, Spencer relies on the Islamic historians. Of course, Moslems are not the only ones in history who committed brutal aggression against other people, but the Moslems are the only ones who did it while following the sacred commands of their god and prophet. And, they are still doing it because Allah’s words in the Koran are considered valid for all of eternity! This book is not a history of human aggression and brutality, in general. It is a history of Moslem aggression and brutality committed in the name of their religion. Everyone should read it in order to understand what the civilized world is up against today.
In addition to this history book, I urge everyone to read Robert Spencer’s earlier book, “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam”. It, too, like all of Robert Spencer’s books, is based exclusively on the Islamic sacred texts and the writings of respected Islamic religious authorities. Those Islamic sources are the only place to go for the truth about Islam. No, not about “radical Islam” or “extremist Islam” or “militant Islam”. As Turkish President Erdogan famously said: “There is no moderate Islam or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam, and that”s it.”

This is the most terrifying book in print in any language.
The most demented, sadistic mind could not fabricate the horrors revealed.
Yet it is as clinical and passionless as an autopsy report in a criminal trial.
The documentation trail back to historic sources for every fact, is as rigorous and exhaustive as any work of history to come out of an ivy league University Press; and I have read a few.
This book was a generation overdue.
It will be dismissed as hate speech.
Because at no time in human history has the truth been so dangerous, or the stakes so high, or those opposed to truth so entrenched and organized and determined.
They sense the End Game, and this book stands in their way.
Read this book. Ignorance on this issue is no longer an option for any free people.
This is not a book of hyperbole, or political bias, or a ‘narrative’.
