Hasan Minhaj is one of the legion of today’s painfully unfunny “comedians” who think that repeating Leftist talking points and mocking their opponents is “comedy.” Here he takes on the TV series “Bodyguard,” claiming it is “Islamophobic.” (“Islamphobia,” let us remember, is a smear propaganda term designed to intimidate people into fearing to oppose jihad mass murder and Sharia oppression.)
The creator and writer of “Bodyguard,” Jed Mercurio, has responded to such criticism apologetically, while standing his ground: “Unfortunately… the principal terror threats in the UK do originate from Islamist sympathisers. I do understand that’s different from the religion of Islam, but it’s the reality of who the perpetrators are of the majority of the offenses.”
It is glaringly obvious that “the principal terror threats in the UK do originate from Islamist sympathisers,” and astonishing that this point would even be in dispute, but that is a manifestation of the degenerated state of the public discourse today, and of the effectiveness of the Left’s relentless propaganda about “right-wing extremists.” Mercurio, in stating this obvious point, has to protect himself from the Thought Police of Theresa May’s shabby little police state by adding in the caveat: “I do understand that’s different from the religion of Islam.”
Yes, everyone among the political and media intelligentsia is absolutely certain that Islam is a religion of peace. The only people who remain unconvinced are, unfortunately, the jihad terrorists, whose exegesis of the Qur’an and Sunnah has never been effectively answered by “moderate Muslims.”

Former Daily Show correspondent and American comedian Hasan Minhaj has called out the supposed ‘Islamophobia’ in hit series Bodyguard on his political comedy show, Patriot Act, both of which air on streaming service Netflix….
Minhaj compared the depiction of Muslim people in Bodyguard to Ryan Zinke, Trump’s Secretary of the Interior, exploiting, yet claiming to value protected federal land in the US.
…Minhaj jokes “you can’t idolise Teddy Roosevelt and destroy the environment… that’s like Netflix having the first Muslim talk show host and Bodyguard.”
The comedian doesn’t back down, pondering “[Bodyguard] is so good, you almost forget about the Islamophobia… You still taste it though, a little bit. ‘Why does he have to be so close to the bomb?’ But the drama is so gripping,” the comedian singing in conclusion, “oh, to be white!”
…In response to criticism, Mercurio told Radio Times in September, “Unfortunately… the principal terror threats in the UK do originate from Islamist sympathisers.
