Imagine if a group of Christians, or any group other than Muslims, did this. The outcry would be immediate, immense, and international. There would be commissions and studies about how Christianity inspires people to be brutally and intransigently self-righteous, and warnings to people to leave Christianity for their own sake. But no one will take any particular note of this. And here again we see Islamic morality: a young couple accused of having sex outside of marriage is haram. But brutalizing and humiliating them is pleasing to Allah. In this we glimpse one reason why Muslim spokesmen in the West are so virulently rude and discourteous to their intellectual opponents: contempt and hatred for those who get out of line is inculcated into people in Islamic societies.

A man and woman had buckets of sewage poured over them by an angry mob who accused the pair of having sex outside of marriage in an area ruled by Sharia law.
The disturbing scenes were filmed by an onlooker in the city of Langsa, in north-western Indonesia’s Aceh province.
In the video, a man identified by the initials TSF can be seen crouched next to an open sewer as a vigilante fills a bucket with waste and pours it over his head.
TSF is held still by the vigilante who then fills another bucket and pours it over the supposed adulterer.
The sewage-soaked man then tries to walk away but the group of onlookers usher him back to towards the sewer where he is joined by a woman, identified as DK, 30.
The woman is wearing traditional clothing and crouches next to her alleged lover as they have buckets of sewage repeatedly poured over them.
Local media report that DK is accused of having sex outside of marriage with TSF, who is her boss and the head of the city’s Regional Development Planning Board.
The local Islamic Sharia Agency Heaf [sic], Ibrahim Latif, told reporters: “So the culprit (TSF) often went to the house of the woman, according to locals.
“Maybe, after a long time of peeping on them, the locals got angry because they were deemed to have engaged in immoral acts.
“The locals were angry because when the couple was interrogated they could not keep their answers straight. It has become a norm in villages like that.”…
