What could possibly go wrong? To keep him in prison would be “Islamophobic.”
“‘I’m not an extremist’: Aboriginal man who ‘converted to Islam after being radicalised in maximum-security terror unit’ is granted bail despite allegedly planning to blow up a shopping centre,” Daily Mail Australia, July 10, 2018:
An Aboriginal man who ‘converted to Islam’ in jail and allegedly said he believes he will get ’72 virgins in heaven’ if he dies in a terror attack has been granted bail despite allegedly planning to blow up shoppers.
Greg Ceissman allegedly threatened to blow up Bankstown Shopping Centre and attack Marrickville Police station in Sydney while behind bars….
Ceissman insisted he was not a terrorist while he was outside court on Monday.
He described his monitoring conditions as ‘overboard’.
‘They have gone too far…it doesn’t make sense. It is not fair one bit,’ he said.
Ceissman was freed on bail in the NSW Supreme Court on June 28 after Justice Stephen Rothman found any potential risk to the community could be managed, AAP reported.
He’s accused of saying he would shoot as many police officers as he could and that if he was killed during an attack he’d get 72 virgins in heaven.
However, Ceissman was not charged with a terror offence, and denied making the comments or having extremist views….
