A hair removal services company in Canada is facing a human rights complaint after a Muslim employee refused to wax the legs of a transgender woman who was born male.
This is a case to be watched closely. The beautician has a case, but this case also takes place in the context of the fact that Muslim rights transcend Christian rights in Justin Trudeau’s Canada.
The trans woman customer filed a complaint with the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, saying the Mad Wax in Windsor, Ontario, caused “immense harm” to her dignity….Carruthers, president and CEO of Mad Wax Windsor Camp Inc., responded to the complaint by emphasizing that they value their employees’ religious beliefs over fairness to their clientele.
This case has significant impact upon religious freedom and the principle of equality of rights for all. It should be remembered that Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government has been noted as having “totalitarian tendencies” by the former Ambassador of Religious Freedoms, Dr. Andrew Bennett. This stemmed from a “Liberal government’s change to the Canada Summer Jobs program that requires organizations seeking funding to tick a box that attests to their respect for sexual and reproductive rights, including abortion, and other human rights.” It is striking that this attack by the Trudeau government on the values of people of Christian faith primarily targets “summer camps to soup kitchens — that have nothing to do with abortion.” Yet meanwhile, an “Islamic group with ties to a terrorist organization will receive the Trudeau government’s Canada Summer Jobs Grant.”
Most troubling is that Trudeau bends over backwards to embrace Islamic supremacists, as the rights of Christians dwindle. Anyone can mock, ridicule and insult Christianity in Canada, but no one can utter a critical word about Islam. In fact, the Liberals are still trying to find ways to criminalize speech that is considered to be critical of Islam by “taking action” as a followup to the “anti-Islamophobia” motion M-103.
If this beautician had been a Christian, would Mad Wax have allowed her to deny anyone service? While the Muslim beautician (and Mad Wax) are being dragged before an Ontario Human Rights tribunal for her faith, the truly intolerant and virulent aspects of Islamic belief and attitudes toward the LGBTQ community are “tolerated.” Anti-LGBTQ views are being preached openly in Canada with no opposition from the LGBTQ community.

A transgender woman who was born male has filed a complaint against a Canadian beauty waxing spa after a female Muslim employee declined service over religious reasons.
The complaint was brought before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario against Mad Wax of Windsor in response to a female Muslim employee who was opposed to touching a biologically male body.
Carruthers, president and CEO of Mad Wax Windsor Camp Inc., released a statement last week, confirming he had received the complaint and that he respects the religious beliefs of his employees.
“All clients regardless of sex, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation are welcome,” stated Carruthers, as quoted by CTV News.
“However, we also welcome staff members and respect their religious beliefs and feelings of safety and dignity in regards to the right not to perform waxing services on males or male genitals.”
Ray Colautti, attorney for Carruthers, echoed the CEO’s comments about the need to respect the beliefs of the staff and that no one else was available to perform the waxing.
“[Mad Wax] respects its own staff and religious beliefs and feelings of safety and dignity in regards to the right in not performing waxing services that they don’t feel comfortable providing,” stated Colautti, as quoted by iheartradio.ca.
