Salman’s lawyers are unlikely to remind the court of this, but Seddique Mateen also told reporters not long after the massacre that Salman was “no longer here.” She wasn’t found until months later. Did Seddique Mateen help her disappear? Did he know where she was? If feds ever questioned him about this, that fact was not publicized.
And why did Seddique Mateen show up at a Hillary Clinton rally last summer, prominently positioned for the cameras right behind the candidate? After all, he was an open supporter of the Taliban, and the morning after the murders, he posted online a video in which he claimed that he was “not aware what motivated” Omar to “go into a gay club and kill 50 people,” but then he added: “God will punish those involved in homosexuality,” as it is “not an issue that humans should deal with.” Wasn’t this someone Hillary Clinton would have wanted to run from? Was this ineptitude on her campaign’s part? Or something else?
In any case, this is yet more evidence of the deep corruption of the FBI. This thoroughly compromised organization needs to be thoroughly and impartially investigated, and if necessary to protect the American people, shut down.

ORLANDO, Fla. – Attorneys for the widow of Pulse nightclub gunman Omar Mateen are calling for a mistrial after they say prosecutors revealed that Mateen’s father was an FBI informant. CBS affiliate WKMG reports that prosecutors sent an email on Saturday that stated Seddique Mateen was a confidential FBI source from 2005 until 2016, according to a motion filed by the defense.
Omar Mateen’s widow, Noor Salman, is on trial in federal court on charges of aiding and abetting her husband, obstruction of justice and lying to federal agents. If convicted, she could get life in prison.
Her husband killed 49 people and injured at least 68 others when he opened fire inside Pulse on June 12, 2016 before he was shot to death by police.
WKMG reports that the email sent by prosecutors stated that Seddique Mateen is also being investigated for money transfers to Turkey and Pakistan.
