Zionism was declared a form of terrorism during and following an international symposium of al-Quds International Foundation in Damascus.
Dr. Bouthaina Shaaban, a Syrian politician, and political and media advisor to President Bashar Al-Assad, stated that “the war on terrorism is a war against Zionism.”
“The symposium included a documentary on the usurpation of the Palestinian territories and presentations about the goals of US President Donald Trump’s decision to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied al-Quds.”
In 2012, the U.S. Department of the Treasury designated the al-Quds International Foundation “controlled by and acting for or on behalf of Hamas.”
Evidence has long existed and continues to pile up that there never was a legitimate peace process, but a resolve among Israel’s enemies to obliterate the Jewish state, right from its birth in 1948.
Evidence also continues to mount globally that jihad (stealth and violent) is also mandated to expand the House of Islam. Since Trump has taken a stand to “make America great again” by exercising his rights as a democratic leader of a sovereign country, the world’s enemies of democracy are being increasingly flushed out into full view.
Zionism simply means recognizing and supporting Israel’s right to exist.
The symposium was rife with propaganda and incitement to war against Zionists, in its discussions about “reasons of the global terrorist war on Syria, including Syria’s adherence to the Palestinian cause and to the right to liberate the occupied Arab territories.”
In the meantime, leftist ideologues continue to aid and abet the worst enemies of freedom, who are now rapidly expanding into Western nations, using victimhood as a deadly propaganda weapon.

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Presidential Political and Media Advisor Bouthaina Shaaban has stressed that Zionism is “organically-connected” to terrorism, therefore, “the war on terrorism is a war against Zionism”.
In a statement to reporters following an intellectual symposium held on Wednesday by al-Quds International Foundation (Syria) in Damascus, Shaaban said “when the axis of resistance began to defeat the terrorists and win the war on terrorism in Syria, the terrorists’ masters and supporters in different countries have gone crazy and began to send their troops whether the Turkish invasion forces or the US forces which came to replace terrorism in the Syrian north.”

Dr. Shaaban underscored that resistance against the Israeli occupation in Palestine is similar to resistance against terrorism in Syria, because in both cases resistance is facing the enemy of independence and humanity.

They shed light on the reasons of the global terrorist war on Syria, including Syria’s adherence to the Palestinian cause and to the right to liberate the occupied Arab territories.
