Bombs and books on jihad? Don’t they know that jihad is a peaceful interior struggle, an entirely benign effort, such as going to the gym or getting the kids to school on time? One hopes that Hamas-linked CAIR is sending a rep over to Paikpara village immediately in order to explain to Abu Dawood Sheikh, Md Rafiqul Islam, Kabir Shikari, and Mohammad Mahmud how they are misunderstanding this peaceful tenet of the Religion of Peace.

Four people, arrested on charge of possessing bombs and books on jihad at Paikpara village in Fakirhat upazila under the district on Friday, were sent to jail through a court yesterday.
The arrestees are Abu Dawood Sheikh, 48, and Md Rafiqul Islam, 35, of Dhanpota, and Kabir Shikari, 38, and Mohammad Mahmud, 35, of Shatala village….
“Following a tip, the four people were detained from a house of Paikpara village on Friday. Three bombs and four books on jihad were recovered from there,” Fakirhat Police Station OC Mohammad Abu Zahid Sheikh said, adding that the arrestees have connection with Jamaat-e-Islami.
