Germany has decided to ban face coverings, including the niqab and the burqa, while driving. As expected, some are screaming “discrimination,” a word now used either to ram through an agenda or to pave the way for special allowances for one group over another.
The German Transport Ministry said that “the rule of law requires that only drivers can be held accountable,” but those who expect to be permitted to drive with the niqab or burqa regard Sharia to be above German and other Western laws.
It is fundamental that any and everyone should be able to be identified while driving. It is also important for police safety during traffic stops.

The German parliament’s upper house, the Bundesrat, passed new rules to prevent drivers from covering their faces to avoid speeding tickets in a move that some claim unfairly targets female Muslim drivers.
“The rule of law requires that only drivers can be held accountable. That presumes that they can be identified,” the German Transport Ministry said, as cited by Deutsche Welle.
The new rules, which were approved on Friday, apply to any facial covering such as masks and hoods which might impair driver vision.
