“We are vandal group”? It’s just a hunch, but I strongly suspect that this is yet another in the long line of “anti-Muslim hate crimes” that turn out to have been faked by Muslims themselves. “We are vandal group” sounds like something written by someone whose first language is not English, which in turn gives the strong impression that this bacon and graffiti were not left by racist redneck “Islamophobic” Tennesseans, but by someone who wanted to give the impression that the mosque had been the victim of a “hate crime,” when in fact nothing of the kind had occurred.
“Bacon used in hate crime at Islamic center in Tennessee,” WTVF, July 10, 2017:
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Rutherford County (Tenn.) Sheriff’s detectives have asked for the public’s help in their search for the person[s] who vandalized the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro.
Employees found a spray painted message on two walls and bacon draped over the door handles of the school’s entrance.
The messages were painted on the east side of the building and concrete on the basketball court. They read, “We are vandal group,” and “F*** Allah.”
Detectives said they were investigating it as a hate crime and have talked with federal authorities about the crime.
“We are looking for anyone with information about people who may have talked about defiling the mosque,” Detective Dan Goodwin said….
Then follow in the WTVF report two statements from local Democratic Party groups. These are odd things to include: in the eyes of WTVF, this vandalism is apparently already a political issue and a weapon to use to hit Trump and the Republicans.
