New in PJ Media: It’s one of the most awkward twenty seconds ever captured on video in a disastrous administration that lurches from one awkward moment to another: when asked “Do you think you may have underestimated Putin?,” Old Joe Biden first continued to stare in the general direction of the question, a slight smirk on his […]
Erdogan Triumphs as Putin Stabs His Own Best Ally in the Back
Russian President Vladimir Putin has been making some astonishing demands, including: NATO mustn’t admit additional countries near Russia, such as Ukraine and Georgia. NATO must cease military activity in non-NATO territories: Georgia, Ukraine, the Caucasus, Central Asia, and parts of eastern Europe. Yet, incredibly, Putin has himself been enabling a NATO member’s aggression bordering […]
Pro-Sharia group hails Putin for saying that insulting Muhammad is a ‘violation of religious freedom’
Days ago, Russian leader Putin stated that insults to Muhammad were a “violation of religious freedom and of the sacred feelings of people who profess Islam.” He went even further to cite “as an example the attack on the editorial office of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris after its publication of cartoons of the prophet.” […]
Putin: Insults to Muhammad ‘violation of religious freedom and of the sacred feelings of people who profess Islam’
Putin is being pragmatic. He doesn’t want to have to deal with jihad attacks from people who are outraged over insults to Muhammad. And of course, he was never a fan of the freedom of speech anyway. Most of the world today agrees with him, except for those who still understand the importance of the […]
Russia: Putin says 32 terrorist attacks were foiled in 2021
Putin doesn’t say what kind of terrorists they were, at least as far as this report goes, but they were almost certainly Islamic jihadis. It’s the international terror threat that no one dares to name. “Putin says 32 terrorist attacks foiled in Russia in 2021,” Tass, December 19, 2021 (thanks to Henry): MOSCOW, December 20. […]
Putin Makes an Amazing Revelation About How He Made a Living After the USSR Fell
My latest in PJ Media: In the course of an interview he gave for an upcoming Russian documentary about the country’s recent past, Vladimir Putin made a startling revelation. After the fall of the Soviet Union, he said in interview excerpts released Sunday, “Sometimes I had to earn extra money. I mean, earn extra money by […]
Does Biden Want War with Russia? Russia Protests U.S. ‘Provocative Actions’ Over Black Sea
My latest in PJ Media: The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday issued a statement protesting against “the military activity of the United States and NATO member states along the perimeter of Russia’s borders, including military flights and dangerous manoeuvres by naval ships.” The statement from Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova asserted that “the US […]
Putin Claims to be a Protector of Christianity. He’s Sending Muslims to Invade Poland.
Looking at the Poland border war, where border police are under attack by mobs of rock-throwing Iraqi Muslim migrants, I’m reminded of the Gates of Vienna and how the various quarreling Christian princes played a role in the Islamic invasion. While Poland plays the Sobieski role, Putin seems determined to enact Louis XIV’s betrayal. The Sun […]
Israel and Russia move on common goal of ousting Iran from Syria
“Israel and Russia are working to remove Iran and its proxy Hezbollah from the county.” As strange as this development may sound, given the long history of cooperation between Russia and Iran, in the last few years, “Israel and Russia established a so-called deconfliction hotline to keep the sides from getting tangled up and accidentally […]
Putin: US achieved ‘zero result’ in Afghanistan, fears ‘radical Islam’ will spill into friendly Central Asian states
America under Biden has become a global laughingstock. While China castigated America for its “ill planned” withdrawal in Afghanistan, Putin has opined that America has achieved “a zero result, if not negative” in Afghanistan. At least some of the tens of billions of dollars in aircraft and military equipment that were left for the Taliban […]
