Iran’s grieving and rage over Soleimani’s killing does not stop at its Interpol request. Iran’s judiciary chief Ebrahim Raisi has also issued a warning that Qasem Soleimani’s killers will “not be safe on Earth.” Soleimani was commander of Iran’s Quds force. His successor, Esmail Qaani, warned that “severe revenge awaits” and that it may come […]
Trump Reminded Us What It’s Like to Have an American President
My latest in PJ Media: It had been so long since we had an American president, many people had forgotten what it was and should be like. And after decades of anti-American, cultural Marxist indoctrination in American schools and popular culture, others thought it was a terrible thing. Neo-Dem Never-Trumper William Kristol tweeted: “I’ll be […]
Iran’s Rouhani on Trump: ‘In a few days, the life of this criminal will end and he will go to the dustbin of history’
Imagine the outcry if Trump said that Rouhani’s life would end in a few days. Rouhani, the president of a country that sponsors jihad terror around the world, would be indignantly defended by the international media. But if Trump were killed, the same media would cheer and blame the victim, so there is no controversy […]
What’s Wrong With a Quid Pro Quo?
Jonathan Tobin, the editor of JNS.org, replies to critics of the Morocco-Israel deal who complain about it being a crass “quid pro quo.” His report is here: “In praise of diplomatic quid pro quos,” December 14, 2020: The news was greeted with jubilation by friends of Israel and the approximately 1 million Israelis who trace […]
Trump Recognizes Moroccan Sovereignty over Western Sahara: A Discussion with Security Expert Irina Tsukerman
Human rights lawyer and international security expert Irina Tsukerman joined Andrew E. Harrod on Conservative Casual Friday on New Year’s Day to discuss the recent decision by President Donald Trump’s administration to recognized Moroccan sovereignty over Western Sahara. Trump made this decision in the context of an agreement in which Morocco agreed to establish relations […]
Iran’s Foreign Minister accuses Trump of ‘plot to FABRICATE pretext for war’
Zarif’s statements in general are a reliable indicator of what is not, in fact, true. In saying this, he is applying indirect pressure on the Biden team to end any opposition to Iranian actions, which the Biden team will be only too happy to do. “Iranian FM: Trump trying to fabricate pretext to attack Islamic […]
For NBC News, War Is Peace, and Trump’s Historic Peace Deals Are War
My latest in PJ Media: Other presidents throughout American history have endured harsh criticism from the press. None of them, however, have faced anything like the relentless, organized hit job that is the establishment media’s coverage of President Trump, featuring not just criticism, but distortion, half-truths and outright lies, all designed to make the American […]
Iran’s Rouhani: ‘Trump’s fate will be no better than Saddam’s fate,’ as Saddam ended up ‘hanging from the gallows’
Iran has become confident and emboldened. The jihadist regime of Iran is salivating at the thought of a Biden administration, during which it is confident that it will have free rein to expand its global adventurism. In its view, America will now “bow” and sanctions against it will end, as the disastrous nuclear deal is […]
Trump: ‘Some friendly health advice to Iran: If one American is killed, I will hold Iran responsible’
The mullahs only have to restrain themselves for a few more weeks, and then they will get everything they want and more. “Trump taunts Tehran with ‘some friendly health advice’ amid escalating U.S.-Iran tensions,” by Ben Wolfgang, Washington Times, December 26, 2020: Iran’s foreign minister hurled invective at the White House on this week, accusing […]
Trump administration slaps sanctions on Turkey over purchase of Russian S-400 missile system
Erdogan brokered a deal “reportedly worth $2.5 billion with Russian President Vladimir Putin for the S-400 missile system.” Turkey was also warned by NATO. Turkey has consistently been a rogue member of NATO that poses a security threat, not only due to its missile deal with Russia, but also because of its tightening alliance with […]
