In a groundbreaking declaration:
“Practically all noteworthy Islamist organizations that are active in Germany” are tapping anti-Semitic themes as part of their ideology, chief of German domestic intelligence told Suddeutsche Zeitung. The newspaper revealed a report by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution….detailing some 700 anti-Semitic incidents involving Islamists and Muslims.
And in another stunning revelation, German authorities have been instructing that incidents of Islamic antisemitism be registered as “right-wing ones, blurring statistics.”
Last year, amid reports that violent antisemitism was on the rise, a government official warned Jews to avoid wearing kippahs in public. The German government’s antisemitism commissioner, Felix Klein, danced around the issue of Islamic antisemitism and the link between Muslim migration and continued escalation of this phenomenon. But coinciding with reports about the rise of antisemitism in Germany, the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies published a report: “German Intelligence Issues Taboo-Breaking Report on Muslim Antisemitism.” What is critical about this report – aside from its unique study of Islamic antisemitism – is that it establishes how Islamic antisemitism is transported through immigration.
Even German Chancellor Angela Merkel once remarked: “We now have another phenomenon, as we have refugees or people of Arab origin who bring another form of anti-Semitism into the country.”
However, in another way, Germany appears to be headed in a hopeful direction:
The top intelligence agency in Germany has written what is being called its most comprehensive analysis of rising anti-Semitism by Islamist extremists.The Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, or BfV, described its 40-page brochure as a tool for educators, social workers, police and others who work closely with recent Muslim immigrants or refugees.

“Practically all noteworthy Islamist organizations that are active in Germany” are tapping anti-Semitic themes as part of their ideology, chief of German domestic intelligence told Suddeutsche Zeitung on Wednesday.
The newspaper revealed a report by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution — Germany’s version of Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) — detailing some 700 anti-Semitic incidents involving Islamists and Muslims.
Without revealing names, the report mentions a Furkan Foundation outlet clerk informing their guests that Jews are “are worth less than animals,” an imam at a mosque run by Millî-Görüş organization calling for Palestine to be freed from the “evil Beni Israel” and a teacher of Syrian descent proclaiming that “all Jews belong in the gas chamber.”
The newspaper noted that the cases are indicative of a “virulent” nature of anti-Semitism among members of Islamist groups; in some cases, anti-Semitic abuse also came from Muslims without radical group affiliations…..
