Last night I was on Eric Bolling’s Money Rocks on Fox Business, along with Scott Wheeler, Garland Nixon, Kimberly Guilfoyle, and Bo Dietl. We discussed the Muslim Brotherhood and the situation in Egypt, as well as a rather alarming statement that neither Israel nor the U.S. have any right to exist.

Islamic jihadists support Egyptian protesters
The Muslim Brotherhood is best situated to take power in Egypt after Mubarak’s fall, and to impose Islamic law. Thus this story should come as no surprise, except to those learned analysts who are sure that the Egyptian protesters are a gathering of earnest Jeffersonians. “Islamic militants support Egyptian protesters,” from AP, February 4: AMMAN, […]
Pakistan: 14-year-old killed for refusing to marry father’s cousin
“My daughter was a disgrace to the family. We can’t tolerate our children disrespecting their elders’ wishes so we killed her, why would I want my husband to be punished? He did the right thing.” “14-year-old killed for refusing to marry father’s cousin,” by Shahid Mirza for the Express Tribune, February 4 (thanks to Ron): […]
Kuwait: Prisoners may be set free if they memorize Qur’an
So what if they commit to memory verses calling for them to “slay the pagans wherever you find them” (9:5; cf. 4:89 and 2:191), calling Jews apes and pigs (2:62-65; 5:59-60; 7:166), and saying that Jews and Christians are accursed (9:30) and should be warred against and subjugated (9:29)? (And there are many more where […]
Somalia: Islamic supremacists confiscate Christian farms
“Five of the farms were owned by Somali Christian converts from Islam,” who have now fled and are in hiding, no doubt because of Islam’s death penalty for apostates. “Islamic Somali Militants Confiscate Christian Farms,” from International Christian Concern, February 3: Washington, D.C. (February 3, 2011)-International Christian Concern (ICC) has learned that members of Al-Shabaab, […]
New York Times: Muslim Brotherhood’s intentions “unclear”
Here is a study in preposterous moral equivalence: note the attempts to describe the Brotherhood in terms of inaccurate portrayals of the Catholic Church and of evangelical Christian groups in America. Also noteworthy is the author’s reliance on the word of an Emory University researcher who describes Hamas as a “national resistance fighting Israeli occupation.” […]
Poll shows Egyptians in favor of democracy and stoning for adultery
Discussions in the mainstream media about demands for democracy in Egypt have tended to treat such goals as mutually exclusive. But as we have seen in Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan, democracy and representative governments do not guarantee the protection of human rights and civil liberties. Once again, a democracy is only as good as the […]
Senate report summarizes missed and ignored warnings about Ft. Hood jihadist
The report by Senators Joe Lieberman and Susan Collins is a departure from the scrambling by the mainstream media and other politicians to avoid any mention of Islam or jihad. This document at least calls attention to the role of “homegrown Islamic extremism,” unlike a New York Times report that insisted Hasan and his motive […]
U.K.: Muslim officials sit during standing ovation for war hero
“‘Respect’ for me, but not for thee” Whose side are they on? He was fighting the Taliban and threw himself on a grenade to save his fellow soldiers. We have seen before in the United Kingdom that insulting Britain’s armed forces is one unmistakable line Muslim groups cannot cross without a public response. “Fury after […]
Danish jury convicts axe-wielding Somali jihadist who tried to kill Motoonist
The jury didn’t buy Mohamed Geele’s claims that “I was irritated and frustrated by his comments. I wanted to frighten him but not to kill him.” Westergaard’s account, via the Canadian Press: “I thought to myself: Now it’s happening,” Westergaard recalled. He heard his then 6-year-old granddaughter Stephanie scream from the living room, as the […]
