Let's read that again:

Thousands of women are killed by relatives each year in the Middle East and Asia in so-called honour crimes - usually over suspected adultery, pre-marital sex or after having being raped, or marrying without family consent....

How can anyone read that and have any respect for Islam? Imagine a cult who's men MURDER their own relatives--even their DAUGHTERS--if they are raped! It is well known that even if a brother rapes his own sister, they are often the ones that kill them to protect their "honor."

Try to keep an eye on the proceedings with this case. See if the murdering pig actually goes to prison, or gets whipped in public.

Note that the article states that she was still a virgin. We're all adults here. Presumably that means her hymen was still intact... but what if it wasn't? Would the man then meet with even less disapproval from his "peaceful" fellow adherents?

Sometimes hymens rupture spontaneously, and any insertion, even a finger, can have the same effect. So if a girl masturbates, she loses her right to live? Disgusting.

There is nothing about Islam that is so grand that it can negate this kind of shocking brutal crime.

I suppose this psychopath murdered the girl infront of the other children so as to teach them his idea of islamic values, so when they have kids of their own they can butcher them too. Will he only get a few months in jail for this and platitudes from his community like is often the case?

I guess murdering ones children is for some people and communities a valid religious offering to their god. With an idea of God like that who needs the Devil. The spirit of Baal and child sacrifice lives on.

No doubt he did it in front of his kids to teach them a lesson. They'll tell their friends, word will get out, girls and women will bow their heads, and live in terror of the same thing happening to them. It's a great control method that Muslim men have over their women. It just takes a few such murders here and there, and the whole community of women is living in fear. Subservient, submissive, meek, afraid of doing anything that might even give the faintest whiff of dishonour to her family or community.

What absolute hell this must be for women in Islam. So when I read of Muslim women, especially these flaky recent converts, who say that Islam is wonderful for women, I can only surmise they are dumb as doorknobs, too stupid to waste the time listening to.

This is both very sad and disgusting. When I look at some of these posts though I am sure these same people who condemn the perpetrators of these crimes have similar barbaric tendencies themselves for other "honorable" purposes. When women are raped in the West, "we" argue that this justifies the killing of any children that may result. In fact the rape argument for justifying abortion has resulted in the deaths of MILLIONS of human lives, so "we" here in the West should not pretend to be any less barbaric.

No,he did this in the name of allah.

Nobody in this country gets an abortion in the name of God regardless of the circumstances.When women get abortions they don't scream "Alluah Akbar" from the doctors table.They don't save the dead fetus and wear it around thir neck so all of society can see how pure and pious they are.

In Frontpage Magazine today there is an article about a wing of a library at Villanova University being named in honor of a history professor and head of their Middle East Studies Dept. who committed suicide several years ago. Dr. Mine Ener killed herself in jail after killing her 6 month old daughter who suffered from Down's Syndrome. Depressed at the thought of the baby's quality of life, Dr. Mine "slit the throat of the baby" while at her mother's home. It is a bizarre story, including the honor bestowed upon the deceased professor. However, there are two common threads to this story, the horrific story above of the Kuwaiti man who "slit the throat" of his daughter and the recent murders of the Coptic family in New Jersey who died by having their throats slit...the common threads...Islam and innocents dying by their throats being slit. Very disturbing and all very disgusting.

I know this is an old story but the "Religious Police" stopping girls from being rescued from a burning school still sends chills down my spine. I don't understand how this kind of thing can go on and people sleep at night. It is madness.

Reality check for Westerners. Even if the girl had slept with 100 ugly men and gotten screwed in every orifice, begging for more, THAT DOESN'T DESERVE THE DEATH PENALTY. So enough already with, "and she was a virgin!" as if that makes the father's crime worse.

While Muslims like to fool Christians with their tripe about how Jesus is revered in the Quran,there is very little forgiveness practised by them,and just as Jesus wrote something in the sand that scared the men about to stone the adultress for her sins,I have no doubt that Jesus would ask this Father if HE was a virgin when he married.
Muslims boast about having a population of 1.2 billion world wide,with all the violence and murder at this level of population,imagine the carnage when they make up about 70 percent of the worlds people. I expect the death camp in Europe will be fired-up for another round of religious cleasing under the banner of Allah's will to bring justice and peace.

He now knows that he has shed innocent blood. Accordingly his blood needs shedding but I think boiling in pigs fat would be more approriate and a stronger warning to others who would practice such barbaric ungodly behaviour. I know that sounds barbaric and ungodly too but sometimes you have to fight their culture with their culture. It take a special breed of butcher to kill his own child. Just think that in death he is desecrted by pigs fat and can not possibly go th Islamic heaven.

Before slitting your daughter's throat, have female doctor or, if you cannot afford this, a female relative (mother, aunt, older sister) check on your daughter's virginity. It is preferable to do this before slaughter, as if proven to be intact, events cannot be reversed.
