Meanwhile, Venezuelans are celebrating their freedom from Maduro’s tyranny.

Hey Mayor, what about the safety and security of New Yorkers whose lives have been destroyed by drugs coming in from Venezuela? Do their lives matter, Mr. Mayor, sir?

    • True, Michael. Hugo Chavez and Maduro destroyed Venezuela’s economy and freedom. The country went from the most prosperous nation in South America to the poorest.

I think they should share the same jail cell awaiting trial Mamdani for belonging to the terrorist group Moslem Brotherhood and supporting terror (Hamas and other jihad groups ) groups at home and abroad . So Mamdani supports a communist Tinpot dictator who is flooding this country with drugs and murdering thousands of his own people. A man who is close with China and has been active with drug smugglers ,illegal drug manufacturing ,and terrorism in the Americas. Mamdani should be working to get NYC in working order before worrying about communist strong man dictators being put on trial in America for terrorism against America .

  4. A sovereign nation? Bullshit. It was a nation that had a narco-terrorist who stole an election ruling over it and which many nations, including all of the EU nations, never mind the US, refused to recognize as a legitimate regime.

    Trump, as usual, has put up with no nonsense, unlike all the wussies running sundry Western countries, and took an action which the vast majority of Venezuelans support and thus no wonder the Marxist/Muslim mayor of NYC would come out against this since he gets everything wrong and will, I guarantee, completely eff-up NYC.

  5. Most Venezuelans don’t want that communist scumbag Maduro ruling over them. He has impoverished a nation that has among the world’s largest oil reserves. Also, Maduro is a narco-terrorist. Trump gave him adequate time to cede power and step down, but his arrogance clouded his thought process. Trump’s move was a classic play from Carl von Clausewitz’s Vom Kriege (On War), where von Clausewitz teaches to use the military to back up a nation’s diplomatic positions. Unlike Biden and Obama’s military advisors, someone was paying attention to his classes at West Point and actually stuck to military doctrine in this operation. As an aside, although the “War on Drugs” has been going on for 55+ years, Trump is making more than a dent. The cost of the crime alone ancillary to illegal drug use, is a major drag on the economy and citizens’ safety.

    The U.S. will have to rule Venezuela for a while, until a local transition government is put into place with fair elections soon afterwards. Hopefully “a while” will be for only six months or so. And after that, hopefully Venezuela will be friendly to the US either way full diplomatic and economic relations.

    This toppling of Maduro is also a poke in the eye and a message to China and Iran, two of Venezuela’s allies and adversaries to US interests. I would think it fitting if the Ayatollah were dragged out of Iran by Delta Force, to spend the rest of his life in ADX Supermax in Florence Colorado, the domicile of many of his Jihadi brethren. But, unfortunately, he would not get to see or speak to any of them (or anyone else), but knowing they were there should give him a warm feeling.

    I hope that Mamdani screws up and tries to interfere with Maduro’s incarceration or trial. Then the feds could try him on federal felony charges and partially solve NYC’s present problem of having a jihadist at the helm.

Several months ago, it was reported (and reports usually come late, well after the facts), that maduro had sent many members of his criminal gang to the U.S. to create havoc, cause trouble, take over apartment buildings and carry out armed violence. The gang tren d’ argua…the spelling escapes me…is maduro’s gang.

    That fact makes maduro a gang leader, a supporter of terrorism and guilty of every crime his gang has committed. He’s effectively a mob boss. Mob bosses are subject to arrest.

    Some day, perhaps soon, his buddy trying to stick up for and defend, him, will face the courts.

    • As a bonus in all of this Maduro stuff, somehistory, what Trump did has put the malicious fool who is NYC’s new mayor in an untenable position of defending evil (once again) versus common sense and what is good just two days into his sure to be terrible administration.

  8. What does he mean by briefed? He commands no army and what the NY police know about the operation is the same as the rest of us. Turning on the news is not receiving a briefing; possibly he means he asked for a legal opinion but I would give a 99% probability he merely wants to sound important by talking nonsense.

    • The goon believes that he’s important. Therefore, he said he was “briefed” as if they had to tell him first, before the action happened, or at the very least, before it made it to the usual news sources.

    • Maduro has been taken to the Southern District of New York courthouse, which is probably why they briefed the new mayor

  15. After months of highlighting the US military build up in the Caribbean(mostly Marines and Navy). After months of constant blowing up of drug boats coming from Venezuela. After months of showcasing the US military build up in preparation of a boots on the ground battle in Venezuela. When It finally went down it took our guys about and hour to accomplish their mission without losing one life or asset. From a fellow American, to all of you, from the bottom of my heart…very well done and thank you all for your better than any other…effort.

  16. Maybe Trump sent Madurai to New York to bait Mandani and Hochul into sending their rioters. Perhaps the Venezuelan operation can then be used on New York to bring more narco terrorists to justice, lol.
