UK: School removes references to Christmas from festive pantomime to avoid offending Muslims

When they talk about being “inclusive,” they mean avoiding offending Muslims. No other group would conceivably be offended by a Christmas festival. And when Muslims are firmly in charge in shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain, will they return the favor and be careful to be “inclusive” to non-Muslims? What do you think?

A village school headteacher sparked fury after requesting all reference to Christmas be removed from a traditional festive pantomime being staged for young pupils.

Parents have slammed the decision not to include anything about the Christian celebration so the event can be ‘inclusive’ for children of all faiths.

A letter was sent to parents of 126 children at the Wherwell Primary School in Andover, Hampshire, from the head teacher informing them that there would be no reference to Christmas in a production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.

After a backlash from angry parents a new letter was sent out by the headteacher Mandy Ovenden this week explaining the school’s decision.

Mrs Ovenden said as the pantomime was not a Christmas event all children at the school should be able to attend – even those who parents usually stop them from attending anything that celebrates the festive season on religious grounds.

It said: ‘Discussion with the panto company revealed that Christmas songs were included in the performance.

‘We have a number of families who either do not celebrate Christmas or do so in a different way. The children of these families are removed from events such as this, at the request of their parents.

‘As this is not a Christmas event, but a pantomime, it can be enjoyed by everyone wit [sic] the changes we have requested.

‘We are keen that ALL of our children should enjoy the pantomime and for it to be a fully inclusive event, have removed Christmas songs from the production.

‘Children will continue to enjoy our usual Christmas events as we progress through the remainder of this term.’…

The company performs to over half a million school children every year with five actors taking part in the show.

A spokesman for Chaplins said they usually include references to Christmas in their shows – but were asked by Wherwell Primary School to remove them….

    Just disgusting. But we see more and more of this pandering to violent Muslims, especially in Britain.

    • Maybe we should pander more by suspending the 6th commandment because that clearly cramps their style. Then we take full advantage of it. Turn the other barrel rather than the other cheek.

        • Muslims take over a nation by having the customs and traditions deleted so not to be offended and sadly government officials bow to this wiping out the sovereignty of the nation.

  2. “Inclusive” should mean that things are ‘included’ outside the normal.

    We see it all of the time where mozlum stuff is “included.” Females wearing the ugly scarf is often used to ‘include’ mozlums. But then, other things are removed in the name of being “inclusive.”

    Words, food, dress, songs, customs….toss them all for mozlums to feel “welcome.”

    That crooked, corrupt, bizzarro dictionary just keeps being consulted so “inclusive” means only mozlum stuff and stuff that won’t offend them is “included.”

  4. I’m tired of people who are afraid of celebrating the faiths holidays Because their don’t want to offend the MUSLIMS.
    I say if they can’t respect the different faiths of others in their communities then go back the MUSLIM nation where you came from. VIVAT JESUS.

      The Bible says plainly, “Fear of men lays a snare.” For the most part, fear causes people to bend to the will and wants and demands of mozlums.

  6. Christmas is on the way out in Europe. The birth of Jesus means nothing anymore to a majority and that same majority probably doesn’t have the stomach to resist Islam and the corrupt European governments. I hope I’m horribly wrong.

  7. People in my neck of the woods already have Christmas lights up. Some of them began putting them up the day after Halloween. The population here don’t give a damn about muslim sensibilities and if anyone interferes it would be FAFO.

        • I think he means November 5 ,2024 election day in America .Alot of places outside America put the day before the month when writing the date example 5/11/2024 =11/5/2024 in America.

  8. “…inclusive’ for children of all faiths”. What is really meant by this fraidy-cat wokery of the so-called head teacher is exclusivity for Muslims. That head teacher is a nong. The kids know it, most of the parents are outraged by the head teacher’s pusillanimity. Simple: stage continuous peaceful demonstrations until that head teacher runs away or is sacked. The bottom line: Caving-in to cry-bullies leads to poor educational outcomes.

  10. In the effort for non-offensive inclusiveness schools have hired people who have no business teaching white kids. They just aren’t up to the task and that leads to sub-standard education for the kids. They need to quit offending whites by providing a poor education. Whites should not tolerate the lowering of standards to accommodate those who shouldn’t be teaching them in the first place.We have historical standards and they dont measure up.

        You are right.There are some non-whites capable of teaching white kids. All of those non-white teachers have the first and foremost qualification. Teaching all kids in the long ago white created teaching orthodoxy. I dont care one whit what anyone objects to because I care about the kids.

        Child education before non-offensive inclusiveness all the way.

  11. The school should be asked, how references to Christianity are offending muslims. Some muslims who claim being offended should not be enough for a reason for the removal, it should be more explanation why they are offended.
    Probably something like “Christians are not worshipping our god, therefore they should be annihilated, any reference to Christianity is offending us”. Then the school can make the right decision (which is kicking the muslims instead) if they have balls and brain.

      The apologists may not call that murder. The civilized world does.

    • The Moslems have no respect for the “weak horse” the more you appease them the more they want. The Christmas celebration ,lights ,plays ,gift giving does not say or do anything to physical hurt or stop Moslems from believing in their pagan war god. Think of it as locals cheering the home team ,even you you do not like the home team ,or watch the sport why should you care about the locals getting exciting about the home game Islam demands tolerant of their pagan war god they want want every women to cover up to protect them from their uncontrollably Moslem males.. THey want special pray rooms ,they want Islamic holidays ,where everyone to no eat in front of them on their fast dawn to dusk(never mind they binge eat at night) . They want you to submit all -to a special dhimmi serf or slave class and they do it by changing the small stuff ,then moving to the larger stuff Any society that has no strong values, ,cultural ,that does not believe in their history cultural ,family values ,no real religious belief is viewed as weak and an easy target for these people who want to be slave masters and make us their slaves. The Moslems refuse to adjust to European holidays ,tradition ,laws, customs ,values ,they view you as less then human .Why do other cultures ,be they Hindus in India, or Buddhist in South East Asia ,or Christians in Eastern Europe all have the same problems with Islamic jihadist? THe problems in England or Americas Midwest Michigan ,or South east Asia ,or Eastern Europe have one thing in common Islamic invasion .All these countries have different cultural ,governments systems ,different majority religions, majority races yet they all face the same problems of Islam

      • Telling women they have to bag up is more about controlling the women than it is about controlling the males’ sex drive. The ‘rape’ promise is a weapon so the women will obey their commands to bag up.

    • At this rate it will be a Moslem lead ,Shira law enforced country in 5 or less years . Unless they reverse course in the next 18 months in my opinion most of western Europe ,UK ,France ,Germany (I think Italy still has a shot) will not be unable to change course. There is alot that can happen snap elections ,major riots ,jihad terror attacks ramping up in scale , just the change in America’s leadership in this last election(now a majority republicans’ and the Senate) besides the Whitehouse) , might push the native Europeans to do something to save their countries. It is a shame that it will be very ugly ,and has to happen very fast .The out of touch greens ,the woke idiots ,the ruling elite ,must heel to the majority to right the balance and save European cultural and freedoms .

  18. Years ago, in his _To Jerusalem and Back_, Saul Bellow, a Jew, lamented that the West seems eager to see the last of its Christianity. It seems that the UK is no exception to the rule. Uncle Kepha is just primitive and superstitious enough to entertain the thought that the current furor islamicus is God’s punishment of the West for its apostasy and jettisoning of all Christian morality. He laments that Britain, which long was a leader in world evangelization and in good theology, has fallen so far.
