A man charged with raping a 15-year-old boy at a derelict nightclub in Belfast is to be granted bail, High Court judge ruled today.
Ziad Khawla, 24, is accused of attacking the youth after offering him a cigarette during a chance encounter near the city centre.
The defendant, of Abbeyville Court in Newtownabbey, insists any contact was limited to sharing a brief kiss.
Prosecutors said the teenager phoned police on March 2 this year claiming he had just been attacked by a stranger who approached him near the Waterfront Hall to ask if he wanted a cigarette.
They walked together to a nearby disused nightclub building where the man began to kiss the boy, according to his account.
He was then allegedly pushed onto the ground and subjected to a serious sexual assault for approximately one minute.
“The complainant told him that he was only 15, at which point the male left,” a Crown lawyer said.
Khawla, a Palestinian-born asylum seeker, was arrested following CCTV and forensic inquiries.
He denies charges of rape and sexual assault in connection with the incident.
Defence barrister Patrick Tasggart told the court his client claims it was the teenager who made advances and tried to kiss him.
“He briefly kissed back and that was the extent of the interaction,” counsel said.
“He denies any allegations (of sex), whether forced or consensual.”…

In Halifax (in Nova Scotia Province, Canada) not long ago, there was a gang of eight male Muslim migrants or so (maybe Syrian?) Who verbally harassed and then beat up a lesbian couple.

The Hadith makes it clear that Muslims are allowed to lie to unbelievers in order to defeat them or protect themselves. There are several forms:
Taqiyya – Saying something that isn’t true as it relates to Muslim identity (i.e whether one is a Muslim or what that means). This is a Shiite term: the Sunni counterpart is Muda’rat.
Kitman – Lying by omission. An example would be when Muslim apologists quote only a fragment of verse 5:32 (that if anyone kills “it shall be as if he had killed all mankind”) while neglecting to mention that the rest of the verse (and the next) mandate murder in undefined cases of “corruption” and “mischief.”
Tawriya – Intentionally creating a false impression by saying something that is technically true, when knowing that the listener will interpret it in a different way. This practice has a broader application than taqiyya.
Muruna – ‘Blending in’ by setting aside some practices of Islam or Sharia in order to advance others.
Though not called taqiyya by name, Muhammad clearly used deception when he signed a 10-year treaty with the Meccans (known as Hudaibiya) which allowed him access to their city while he secretly prepared his own forces for a takeover. The unsuspecting residents were easily conquered when he broke the treaty two years later. Some of the people in the city who had trusted him at his word were executed.

There is another factor, just as salient. It is really only consensual gay relationships between general equals–especially those with affection–that are hated and despised (and harshly punished) in Islam.
But raping little boys or same sex rape intended to humiliate–especially an Infidel–is widely accepted in Islam. This poor victim came under both categories, it seems.
