My latest in PJ Media:
On Monday morning, Pentagon press secretary John Kirby gave strong assurances that the Afghans who are being brought into the United States are being carefully vetted: “We have, uh, intelligence and law enforcement personnel, uh, at these sites, making sure that robust screening is done of these individuals, so that nobody comes into the United States that hasn’t been, uh, screened in a robust manner.”
Terrific. Our allies the British have likewise flung open their doors to thousands of Afghans, and today have given an indication of the unavoidable difficulties involved in this process: Sky News reported that “a person from Afghanistan on the UK’s no-fly list has been flown into Birmingham as part of the British evacuation operation in a potential security breach.”
The British have screening that is just as “robust” as ours. A UK government spokesperson said: “There are people in Afghanistan who represent a serious threat to national security and public safety. That is why thorough checks are taking place by government, our world-class intelligence agencies and others. If someone is assessed as presenting as a risk to our country, we will take action.”
Nonetheless, one person was able to slip through all this world-class vetting: “The individual, who is not being identified by the government, is understood to have reached UK soil on a British military plane, with officials being alerted ‘overnight.’” This person was one of five who made the attempt; he or she was the only one who got through. According to Sky News, “the revelation was made by a senior Border Force official in a call to MPs earlier today. He also said that one more individual was intercepted in Frankfurt, and he was blocked from continuing his journey to the UK though his family were allowed to continue.”
That’s good. After all, his family must be as moderate as the day is long, right? How could it be anything else? What could possibly go wrong?
Oddly, the Sky News report goes on to note that “the government will not say if the individual has been detained.”
That’s even a question? Of course he or she should have been detained, but in Britain today, one never knows. In February 2019, The Times of London reported that “the security orders used to keep the public safe from former jihadists are so expensive that experts fear most of those returning from Syria are being allowed to roam free.” The costs involved did indeed seem exorbitant: “The Home Office has spent nearly £5 million [$6.8 million] keeping 23 suspects under restrictions, The Times can disclose. Annual legal bills have been as high as £1 million [$1.3 million] while accommodation has cost as much as £70,000 [$96,000] a year per person. That figure excludes the cost of tagging and police work.” So some returning jihadis simply walk around loose, to cut costs. Has this no-fly-lister from Afghanistan now joined them? The Home Office did not offer any denial, “robust” or otherwise.
There is more. Read the rest here.

Vetting? What Vetting? UK Flies Person on No-Fly List Into Britain from Afghanistan
………………….
This is what they are saying now:
“Person on no-fly list flown to UK from Afghanistan ‘no longer of interest'”
https://www.reuters.com/world/uk/person-no-fly-list-flown-uk-afghanistan-sky-2021-08-23/
This does not exactly fill me with confidence…

Your lack of confidence is well-founded. What’s happening here in the UK is that up to 1,600 of these ‘refugees’ per week are landing on the south coast without proper identifcation and either immediately disappearing or being taken to luxury accommodation where they are not properly supervised and are free to abscond at any time. The only reason we know this is via the internet and unofficial organisations that are monitoring the situation. The same sources are well aware of what’s going on in the now-numerous islam-infested ghettos around the UK and probably surmise that these ‘refugees’ are now with their contacts and spending their time in (paramilitary) ‘outdoor pursuits’ in certsin designated tourist spots, as they have been known to be doing for some years now. The diffeence beween ‘then’ and ‘now’ is that a large number of these musilms have now found their way into influential positions in the UK establishment which now shows clear symptoms of being bent as a nine-pound-note.

Sadly true, Jayell.

There is a strong need to reiterate the fact that if the government officials in power in the United Kingdom really feel that by accepting Afghan/Muslim refugees in the UK is a commendable idea of humanitarianism . This might further prove true the old saying. .Which is that “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.”
For England has already experienced many vicious and malice-filled murderous Muslims terrorists attacks ,as those ,for example, those different malicious and deadly jihadists attacks in London and that horrendous mass murder jihad homicide bombing in the city of Manchester in which so many innocent young girls died.
Another way to illustrate the folly of foolish and reckless kindness ts by the fable of Aesop which of a kind old farmer who saw outside a poor helpless vipre that was freezing to death in the winter cold. The compassionate but foolish farmer felt sorry for that creature so he went outside and put it in his vest pocket to warm it up and therefore save its live. The vipre revived in the warmed of vest ,felt better then bit the farmer through the vest and the kind but foolish farmer died a slow and painful death from that viper’s bite.
So it might be in the UK by Afghan jihadists playing the part of a desperate “refugee ” from Afghanistan who claimed that he was just fleeing the Taliban . For no amount of caring and kinding will change the murderous and destructive nature of a violent /jihadist/Muslim because such a man has been infected with an evil and deadly nature because of the evil and deadly religion.

A redefinition of the word refugee when vetting should be: a person who is actually fleeing from the false doctrines of Islam itself. Not a Muslim following the doctrines of Islam fleeing another Muslim (Taleban) who is also following the doctrines of Islam. That is just more of the same – Islamization.
Again, the only people allowed on those planes should be a person who is in reality and genuinely fleeing from Islamic doctrine itself and not just bringing the pathogen with them.

Why should any amount of “vetting” bother any terrorists trying to gain entrance to the Untied States ?
All they have to do is to fly into Mexico, or points south of that, and walk into the United States.
No Vetting there ! Not even for Typhoid, Leprosy, or the dreaded Chinavirus !

While many of us in America have worked or are working hard to improve our lives and the safety of our families, our political leaders are endangering our lives through the open border. We and they have no idea of who or what is coming into this country everyday. This won’t end well for the middle class working families who will be exposed to the migrants in their neighborhoods.
